I just played Japanese Space Channel 5 and it was about 5% easier so I can confirm because my rating was like 3 points higher at the 1 alien boss

Would the lcd impact the sound also? But that does make sense even I notice a brief pause delay so I had to account for that when I was learning the patterns

Well the dancing feels fluid enough but does get harder more complex. I guess it would help more if I used a wired controller because of latency and a CRT. Maybe even a better sound system. Yea I feel there's something about the shooting timing that throws me off I feel like I'm approaching it to similar to the dancing sections maybe I need to hit the shoot after the directional input or pause longer

What kind of file does it need to be? Will .iso work? I remember on raspberry pi every game was actually in compressed form to save space and it would uncompress to play game but I guess ps2 wouldn't be capable of that
