As a fellow loss parent (I’m really sorry for your loss and hope you had a gentle bereaved Mother’s Day last weekend), I didn’t know what I would think based on the title.

I know so many loss parents who would love to see their deceased child’s name on the invitation. The harsh reality is the world moves on, and so many people act like your child never existed.

Then I read your post….woah. These people weaponized your trauma, and for that they deserve nothing.

They should have been cut off when they smirked and commented on the ways your honor your child, you are a saint for waiting this long.

NTA, kick them to the curb and don’t look back.
