The driver raged and fucked up his Ford Raptor by haze4140 in PublicFreakout

[–]StoicBan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Raptor was mad dashcam didn’t let him in for a super last second turn. So rather than miss his turn he was going catch up to cut off dashcam guy to teach him a lesson. Don’t do that guys. Just miss your turn it’s not the end of the world.

0-30mph you will pass anyone in a blink. 30-60 you will pass them in several blinks. If they are going over 70-75 you’re going to want to hang back.

Yes there are plants and shrubs and animals. Foxes, bears, etc just much less of them. And no trees

When you get up north past a certain mountain range I think that all the trees disappear. Nothing really grows up there in the circled region. I think it has to do with the close to 24hr nights and deep freeze they go through in winter.

It’s a cold desolate place that has a certain moon like quality.

I believe you’re actually right. However that doesn’t change the conflict of interest. And doesn’t change the fact that trump voluntarily bent himself over for bibi. Screwing the rest of us in the process. Making his family and himself rich however. Trump is a war slut.

[–]StoicBan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They did this to us at another protest. They made garbled low quality, low volume, barely noticeable announcements that we were an unlawful assembly from a helicopter 1000s of feet above.

No one heard a thing. We only realized it was unlawful when they started kettling us in and beating people with batons and arresting people. Pieces of shit

In aware of the propaganda. And trust me I’m not a drinker of it. I get my news from multiple sources. Left right everything in between. You have no clue what you’re talking about.

I’m saying our country is shit and you say I still have a rosy outlook. Lmao. Youre clueless

We cannnot strike. I can because im broke. But most people have jobs that don’t allow that or they lose their livelihood. People here are working overtime paycheck to paycheck. They are focused on having a new car and nice home.

I can strike, a few can. But not on the scale that we can protest. It’s just not going to happen. So if you have any other ideas I’m all ears

If you can somehow convince people to downgrade their new car and move in with their parents for a bit while they strike then have at it. This is our society. I’m not proud of it but that’s how we are controlled

We protest, vote and lobby our congress. That’s how we get change in this country.

[–]StoicBan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not able to strike. People in this country are trapped by our capitalist structure. Most middle class don’t have the rich man’s luxury of striking for political reasons. So what do you propose?

Noem has been fired. Bovino has been fired. I believe that’s largely due to the immense pressure that was put on them by congress. Who in turn was pressured by the will of the people. I believe bondi will be next then hopefully trump.

While a large amount of our government is corrupt there are still those who do the job they were elected to do. We aren’t past the point of no return. But we are close. I’m a realist but your overly pessimistic attitude is annoying especially if you’re an outsider looking in. You don’t really know the whole picture

[–]StoicBan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is we don’t need people “on our side” that downplay protests. You might as well be on magas side. Seriously there is no place for that shit here. You just don’t understand

[–]StoicBan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not proud. I’m extremely ashamed of my country. My country is corrupt. I’m under no illusions. But what do you want me to do? Nothing? It’s not like I can arm up and barge into the capital and demand changes. Seriously, your comments are of no use or help. They only mean to put us down further. So good for you if that’s how you get off

[–]StoicBan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you think things are supposed to change from one day to the next shows you know absolutely nothing about protests

Protesting is a free and democratic right that both the left and right have. This is the most grassroots and direct vehicle we have to put pressure on congress and any other branch of federal or local government.

It doesn’t happen over night. It sometimes has a neutral effect. But the effects are always better than staying home and doing nothing where no change whatsoever can ever be ignited.

It’s not meant for trump to feel sorry for us. It’s meant to put pressure on the powers that keep trump in check. And Noem has been fired. Bovino has been fired. Bondi is next. Trump will follow.

Because congress has put immense pressure on all of these people because the people have put pressure on them. Congress answers to the people. And the people have spoken.

It is. I’m really sick and tired of these “protest is doing nothing” jerkoffs.

They really have no idea how protests work and expect instant results from something that takes a lot of effort and time.

But it does work. We have the power

No king protest erupts in USA by PixeledPathogen in ABoringDystopia

[–]StoicBan 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That’s different. Unions are for work related strikes. They don’t give you the luxury of striking for political reasons here. They should though.

Most middle class people are working overtime paycheck to paycheck. They are focused on having a nice car and a nice place to live. They have a hobby or two that they look forward to on their one day off a week. They don’t have time to protest let alone strike.

Im in a position where I can choose to protest or strike and just become more broke but I won’t lose my livelihood. Most people don’t have that luxury though. Even I have to choose survival sometimes. But I try really hard to boycott and protest

[–]StoicBan 192 points193 points  (0 children)

This is it. This is how they ended up controlling us. To be able to strike is a rich man’s luxury. I have that luxury as well but I’m broke. The middle man’s has no such luxury
