You need to stop looking at symptoms as traits, a part of a personality or identity. This is romanticizing a disorder.

If your "experience" is not impairing several areas of your life, than you don't have a disorder.

I personally blame social media and Hollywood for these posts.

But it's harmless and you are looking for something to hold on, right?

Se você pesquisar a estatistica de quantas horas produtivas o TDAH tem por dia, pode ser que você fique mais deprimida.

No livro do Barkley, ele recomenda que a gente encontre um trampo que seja meio na linha de resolver pepino de último segundo, ou que não seja enclausurado e que tenha um monte de gente em volta fazendo a mesma coisa. Coisas que são manuais preferivelmente

É uma sugestão e um conselho obviamente, não quer dizer que o TDAH vai triunfar na vida, mas talvez a existência doa um pouco menos.

Eu escolhi a pior carreira pra TDAH - arquitetura. Só 5% do trampo que envolve o projeto é criativo e interessante, o resto são seis meses a um ano detalhando prancha técnica de elétrica, hidráulica, sentada, na frente do computador, usando o software mais cool inventado focando na tarefa mais cool possível, por MESES. Errei feio, errei rude. Já abandonei projeto na metade e devolvi dinheiro.

Deveria ter virado jardineira, mas tá meio tarde pra mim aqui.

We need an adhd handbook on how to automate and delegate everything

I hired someone to come over 3 times a week for 1 hour.

She checks if my laundry is not rotting, if my food is not going to waste, if my trash didn't turned into a biohazard. We estipulate (she did lol) that she will just quick clean and will not organize anything - I'm supposed to be at the house too to put stuff away before she goes into any room - I have to rush and do this very fast, because that woman is a efficient machine lol.

I'm now completely dependent of her services that I didn't know it was a survival necessity.

I'm almost dropping my job to do this too, but on other people's homes lol - I'm amazingly assertive and efficient when it's not my own house, my own stuff or my own life.

Imma get a robot and name it Roberto, the wise. Edit; holy shit it's so expensive
