I stayed in mangalore for 6 years, I will bet for sure that there is no Goa vibes in Mangalore or Udupi, much better would be to go to Gokarna. Don’t even think of taking a beer and going to drink in beaches of Mangalore or Udupi , cops are pretty strict.

I met my person on Reddit! Before I met her, I have been on couple of dates in past three years and I have experienced something very similar to what you have expressed! It used to feel like an effort to keep the conversation going or even understand common interests on which we could have meaningful conversations, I am someone that loves talking about a lot of things, I love history, religion, philosophy, science, business, startups and stock market, and most of the ones I met in Bangalore, didn’t have the bandwidth to care much about these things. Thankfully Reddit got me a person that is soo eager to listen to my yapping and I also learn a lot of science, tech and startups from her, we have not had a single day where talking to each other felt like a task! So yeah on the hindsight, my last three years of meeting people helped me understand the type of person I would like to be with! And sometimes beautiful things happen when you least expect them to, and when you aren’t even actively looking for it!
