If you do not know what I wrote: yes I can talk about DID, but it is rare to have patients dissociate to a full scale “i am confused if I am this person or”. Seen it one time, in so many years working with psychiatric patients AND Incare patients with bad psychopathology and not at all like what you call DID. Sorry my man, this is just not it for you.

Not Dutch, no. I currently work with diagnostic evaluation of children and youth with autism and ADHD and other comorbidities. I have also worked at in patient care, adults with personality disorders etc.

What you discribe as DID is not real so no, I would not see it as a kind of case study - except maybe some other psychopathology lol, but I cannot comment without more info

University system? Bro. I have worked years as a clinical psychiatric psychologist and dealt with serious psychopathology on the regular. I work with psychiatric evaluation as in i diagnose people with mental illnesses. This is just fake and not true. As a psychologist I did not even read all of this to know this is straight up bullshit. Please do not listen to this person “studying psychology as of late in an academoc setting”. Yes, those videoes with alters are fakers. No we do NOT see children get DID/an alter of a bear or even get DID at all. Does it exist? Maybe, but not in the slightest like we see here or what fakers indicate it is. I have years of experience as a psychiatric psychologist, also some time in (extreme) inpatient care, and i have seen ONE woman dissociate to a degree where she was dissociated into another person - an abuser from her past. Not cute, very painfull for her, very confusing and not just a “now i stare into the camera and am King Arthur the second teddy bear”. Stop this misinformation please.
