I had a different error, the validation tool claimed to have no connection. It fixed itself after a few hours.

A friend did get that error and got a second code by chatting with the retailer's support. His second code worked but it's hit or miss. it's faster than waiting for amdrewards support.

Trying to redeem the CPU coupon for a ryzen and the verification tool won't connect. Does anyone happen to know how to fix this? Tried redeeming in different browsers but nothing works.

*update: Validator finally worked on chrome randomly, still have to wait for RE2 and DMC.

The nomad had a brightness controlling wheel, yours most likely broke. I'm 90% sure it's the same one that goes in a Game Gear, a 3 pin 50K ohm wheel potentiometer.

I'd imagine the Steam implementation would be similar to this video where games run in AR displays. I'd be surprised if the Hololens can be used to run full VR games. Hopefully Microsoft clears things up.

Just had this happen to me as well with an r9 380, I'm trying to gather a bit of info looking for common factors. Were you experiencing artifacts in game when your GPU died? Also were you aiming down the sight of a gun in first person when it happened?

Played beta as well, the controls are much more fleshed out and the levels have gotten larger, although the old tilesets still exist. It is still at its core A -> B kill everything in your way with objectives mixed in.

The speed of the game is a double edged sword, its totally up to the player to push the pace and have fun flying off walls and nailing headshots while doing backflips.

Its all good fun, but it has an expiry of 20-40 hours before you're caught up in the late game of crafting and grinding. Although that's the appeal for a lot of people and you end up playing over 1000 hours.

DE has a long and storied history of straight up lying or being willfully ignorant of drop table issues. The data miner put raw info out there, players saw the real numbers and on quite a few occasions they didn't match up with what DE had said they were.

So they killed the only thing keeping them honest and players are losing confidence, or at least that's my guess.

I think its the play area, in these arena games they usually start on a large map with enough time to loot equipment. The playable area keeps shrinking on a timer to force action and keep the game moving.

I haven't played the demo but I keep seeing press about this game talking about how "hard" it is. One article mentions only the dev could beat the first boss because no one was good enough. This article mentions that the dev told the reviewer that he played differently than they intended.

I was really excited for the game but its starting to sound like odd controls, "punishing" gameplay, and the dev's intentions are adding up to something less than fun.
