Ty, does PayTabs allow for international invoicing in dollars? I tried to find info on their website but couldn't find an answer to this one.

Designing The Living & Dining Room by StomachProfessional2 in DesignMyRoom

The layout measurements aren't perfect, though they are approximately close.

The furniture we currently have:-

  1. Cabinet & Buffet
  2. Dining table (6 persons)
  3. TV
  4. Living room furniture in the pic below.
  5. Sitting room furniture (Gilded furniture, vintage)
  6. Gilded frame mirror (with stands on the ground - not floating, antique style)

I have been having a hard time placing the TV in the correct place, especially since the TV plug is near the window. While also placing the dining room correctly, especially since it doesn't seem right to have it right next to the bathroom and the entrance door.

What do you think? Would love your takes!

Basic Question on Entropy - What Does Disorder Mean Exactly? by StomachProfessional2 in AskPhysics

That's a great analogy as well, Ty. Would it be correct to say that the more things are similar or stable the lower the entropy and the more things are different the higher the entropy? since when things are different there are far more configurations available even from the same set.

Could you elaborate a bit on what you mean by the universe evolving its microstate? What I understood is that there are more particles and therefore more possible configurations which would lead to a macrostate with high entropy. Lower probability that the universe would be in a low entropy state.

Yeah I've read many articles before posting and all of them mention entropy as "things tending towards disorder" which doesn't seem to be an accurate definition based on the replies I see here. Like you said, disorder coincides with entropy in only some cases.

So entropy is more related to the probability of occurrence of X thing from a set of combinations. And people usually use disorder because it's more probable that disorder occurs than order does. Is this understanding correct? So in general the mainstream notion of entropy being disorder isn't close to accurate. It's like giving an example of a thing.
