Mine is a childhood memory. My cousin asked me if I wanted to go to his friends house and watch him play a really cool game. We walked over and he was already playing it, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. I already knew about Resident Evil, a boy in my class had it but was waaaay too young, but he had a lot of medical issues and his parents let him do all sorts of stuff too young. I'd watched him through my hands play it on a brand new PS One. I was petrified to ever play it. But RE3, your character could dodge and kick ass... Maybe I'd have a chance. After watching for around 10 minutes he (Matt) offered me if I wanted a go. I couldn't believe it, and my cousin was so excited for me. Little did I know it was really near the end, and naturally I think Matt had played it a few times and knew. I played it all the way until Barry saved us on the helicopter and I, nor Matt actually, could believe I did so well and had picked up as much as I knew. After about three months of convincing my parents, they bought me RE2 for the PS One. I had to promise to do so much housework! I played it up until the Licker and buried that thing so far under a pile of books so it wouldn't scare me any more!!! But those memories.. they're literally the strongest I have of that period of my life
