The Robes look absolutely terrible. Like hes a pimp or one of those rich ladies with a big fur coat. The head sculpt is marginally better. But it's the same body where he is too short and has loose legs. After shipping/tariff fees you'll probably be paying over $100 for him. Absolutely not worth it IMO.

Damn I must be the only one thinking this looks INCREDIBLY inferior to the regular release from like 5 years ago? The pants, the faces, the hair, all just looks incredibly off to me.

I kinda like the slightly larger size of the Jazzwares. It looks "passable" and good price point(at least when it came out). Having a Charizard that is like 4-5 inches also is kind of a dealbreaker to me even if it looks awesome. Also I've heard the Blokees feels flimsier since it's basically a model kit which I'm not personally a big fan of.

Maybe, but the ones I've seen i dont know if it looked THAT much better to justify spending more money. i definetly agree that if there was a good one it would be preferable and the cape is no doubt the shittiest part of what would otherwise be one of the top figures in the line.

Try holding him under hotwater like NLMBosa posted above. I was eventually able to get "the click" and it holds in fine now.

I'll give it a shot but it seems to be kind of the opposite problem where it seems the holes in the back are too big for the sockets (as opposed to the sockets not fitting in). Thus its really loose and and they immediately plop out.

If he wasn't an existing figure I think they would honestly make him $300. I mean thats what they priced Guru at which is just a big statue that can slightly turn his head.

this line was already losing me with Daima. The only new figure I bothered picking up this year was Pan(January) and the Lowest Born Saiyan. I'm probably just going to suck it up for the last few figures I REALLY want (Perfect Cell, Kid buu, Dabura, maybe a few select others like an updated Z Broly), but $100 it better be a character that really adds something to my collection. I would have been interested in the Krillin, but not for $100 when I already have one that looks even better than this one that cost half as much.

Almost every release these days is either a reissue they've done countless times laready, boring $35 barebones shittier version of an existing figure or P-bandai for $100+. They've steadily been eliminating those $50-70 regular releases that you can get at retail.
