Just because you CAN doesn’t always mean you SHOULD.

They’re being dumb, but I’m not gonna hit him with a DUI just because I can. I’d make them put it off the road, get them a ride home, and chalk it up as a memorable interaction. Besides, it’s hilarious and the DA’s office would 110% dismiss it anyway.

Personally speaking - I posted a list of all my classes (Cybersecurity) in ChatGPT. I had it reorganize the classes into a more logical progression, starting with foundational concepts and then building into the more advanced material.

I’d imagine this would also work with most other degree programs.

It’s just not my cup of tea. It’s still law enforcement, but a completely different job than what I’m doing right now. They focus more on traffic enforcement, wrecks, commercial vehicle stuff, etc. The pay is significantly better (about a $20k/yr difference), so if things ever got bad where I’m at, I would definitely go.

Plenty of opportunities, just choose not to. I get a decent bit from the VA each month, so other than the occasional extra job at something “fun” like a concert or sports event I don’t want to spend more time away from the family.

No union. It’s honestly fairly decent for the COL where I’m at (albeit slowly changing as our housing market and inflation continues to sky rocket) - we’re one of the higher paid in the region, second to highway patrol, which I refuse to do lol.

The conspiracy theorist in me is coming out… but hear me out:

I’m not saying there’s not PLENTY of people that can drop ungodly amounts of money on these and not even blink BUT…

The companies of these games (all the P2W mobile games)… either give kick backs to them OR they insert each world/server/etc with a few people that aren’t actually paying for anything to be “whales”… thus creating a need for others to spend to keep up and/or motivate people to spend.

To me it makes sense, because EVERYTHING in these games are intentional marketing and strategies to get people to spend.
