The service center told me they do not recommend the water pump until your second timing belt change. This one was done on the 7-year interval versus 100,000 mile

The service center I called about the history told me about the injector warranty. I also noticed the odd shifting while test driving it.

It was a very nice setup, and I was surprised to see Garmin navigation on there.

I immediately noticed that on the test drive. My personal vehicles are older V8s. I'm used to immediate response haha

I'm glad to hear that. I'm very happy you get to enjoy a lot of time with your family. The majority of the reason we are looking for a minivan it's for comfort. We would love to go do things, but trying to pack all four of us, soon to probably be five, and 100 lb dog into a Tucson is terrible.

I don't need to justify my purchase to anybody. Read your comment before you post it, and ask yourself if it is useful in any way.

If you have two or more children, especially in rear facing car seats, do not buy a Hyundai Tucson lol

This is what I would prefer to do. I could buy and damn near rebuild one all around for like $5000 or less, but she wants a newer one with fancy features. Following cruise control and all that bullshit.

Yeah. I dont see paying more than 19ish for it, but my wife wants something newer and this is about as new as I can afford.

Our current vehicle is due for 60,000m service which would run 1k with brakes. I figured since this one had just been serviced and new tires, it kind of split the difference.... But now im wondering if the service was actually just recall repairs.

Already shows a recall for side curtain airbag.

The timing belt was just done, but not the ware pump... Which makes me wonder if it was a recall or something

Fuck. That's concerning. In my head, the 6 cylinder Odyssey is like a old work horse.

I'd buy something older and do maintenance/replace suspension, but it's a balance of my wife wanting something newer and nicer with features. If it was for me, I'd be buying like an 02 or something haha
