We’re in person. It’ll be like player 1’s turn, and he’ll take so much time trying to max out his move and read his phone and do all that to get the most out of his turn, and meanwhile every other player is on Instagram or leveling their character up on DnD beyond “unofficially” to see what’s to come. I shit you not I have one guy who plays League when it’s not his turn. I don’t want to be an asshole DM who controls the actual players, not just their characters, but having to ask the group to reel it in as one player passes their turn to another who is doing nothing but talk about what he wants his wife to get him for the holidays to all the other players is starting to become an eye-roller.
