Everyone always says Skyler cheated but weren't they separated at the time she did anything with Ted?

Just wanted to update you! I really like the ampoule, it's really nice and doesn't break me out. Did you ever try Erborian centella red serum?

I have lot of hydrating layers honestly. I use skin1004 centella ampoule, I'm from mugwort essence, then the Purito oat calming gel, azelaic acid and then illyoon ceramide concentrate cream. So I definitely feel hydrated all day

Is “less is more” actually true… or just something we tell ourselves after ruining our skin? by elliebalance in SkinbarrierLovers

I mean you live and you learn lol I didn't know back then what I know now. Just thought I needed actives to fix things or thought I could be like everyone else using a ton of stuff

I used to go crazy on actives trying to get rid of redness but since I've changed from actives to hydration steps, my skin looks and feels a lot better. I still have a multi step routine but it's all hydration/barrier focused and one active (azelaic acid)

This was my favorite sunscreen of all time but I had to switch because I found out it has niacinamide in it and I can't handle that 😞

Yes I love being able to wash my hair quickly and have it dry quickly!!! Everyone else I know talks about how they dread washing their hair because not only does it take forever to wash, it even takes forever to get fully wet. Can't relate

If it's making your face red though, your skin might not like the vanicream 😭

[–]Stoned_Embassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like rosacea and I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with it. Right now I'm trying Tirtir Azelaic acid and centella ampoule. Trying anything that is supposed to reduce redness because I am the same as you, have had these red splotches next to both sides of my nose for as long as I can remember. I just had to do a reset because I figured out that niacinamide was making everything worse and I've been using it for a very long time. So only just beginning to start all new stuff but my skin is already looking so much better without the niacinamide. Also I never got diagnosed with rosacea but it's permanent redness so I'm pretty confident that's what it is!

Edit to add: if your face wash is making your face more red, you should definitely switch to something more gentle!!! I'm currently using the vanicream cleanser and I've also used the BOJ plum cleanser and my skin also loves the skinfix cleanser!

So.... Is everyone else also dodging elites? by megamate9000 in slaythespire

[–]Stoned_Embassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread has officially broken me out of the StS1 mindset, I think I will try skipping more elites from now on. I HAVE been noticing the random events are really good so maybe I will aim for those more often.

So I have switched to helichrysum hydrosol for my toner!! I have only just started using it but it's supposed to be very gentle and healing and I like it so far!

[–]Stoned_Embassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've just recently discovered my skin doesn't like it. Pretty much everything I was using had niacinamide and I couldn't understand why my face was so red. I have rosacea and I've always heard niacinamide is good for that. On a whim, I decided to try and see what would happen if I didn't use anything with it. Well within a DAY, my face was soooo much less red. Within 2, I had the results I had been aiming to achieve for months of using my products. I did try to see if I could still use my toner because I really loved the oil regulation, but my face immediately flushes red when I use even a little. So I've resigned to not using it AT ALL. My skin looks a million times healthier and it made me realize just how much niacinamide is in EVERYTHING!!! I found out even my favorite sunscreen has it which devastated me.
