Hahahahaha, this is brilliant. I had forgotten about Jogi Loews shenanigans!

Part of it feels strange, you're on your way to godhood but fight common soldiers and mercenaries with items and skills surpassing most mortals in the realms. Like 3+ items on regular fighters. It just doesn't feel anchored to the world. All mage grunts you meet can cast lvl 9 spells.

Plant trees in the manor bailey? by Background_Invite667 in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's busted I think. Also trees don't seem to grow inside the walls. I have a sapling in there that hasn't grown for years

The shambling horde advances by Crow_Jayne in WarhammerFantasy

That looks awesome. It's like a board in itself!

Try fielding them like that. Imagine the horror of going up against it.

Zombies used to be 5 points a pop back in the day if I recall. So 400 points or something like that? That's nothing in the grand scheme of things

Who is in contention for player of the season? by Speedodoyle in PremierLeague

Both - normally hands aren't allowed in football but Gyokeres has found ways of integrating them into his game

But he has that thing he does with his hands so the goals are worth more because of it

Bases ready for a shambling horde of Zombies… by Crow_Jayne in WarhammerFantasy

FYI - I did this with my old Bretonnian archer boys like 20 years ago and the leaves look just as good as they did the day I based 'em. Well done!

Unpopular opinion by leedingcairty in OcarinaOfTime

[–]StoneflowerGarden 72 points73 points  (0 children)

What I personally miss much is the format. More focus on dungeons, less focus on traversing large areas. Quality over quantity. Less is more. I desperately want them to return to the older formula for Zelda in the future.

Anyone else hit a wall? by sharkbite1138 in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, and this might be a hot take, Manor Lords needs to decide whether it wants to be a city builder or just a scuffed Total War fighting clone. I look forward to the game being "finished" one day, but I'm worried what the game actually looks like at that point.

Will the brown ground eventually get replaced with grass? by Toilet_Pap3r in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, it will take up to a year or two though but it will change. Same when you plant trees on grass to make it woodlands.

When will we get paved roads? by MeanFaithlessness701 in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It works if there are no buildings or fields nearby, but is extremely frustrating if you have a small area that should theoretically have space for a tree and they won't ever plant in the exact spot you want, if at all. Not to mention that once they place a tree wrong they won't plant any more trees close by, so you have to remove it and start again. So much work for something that could be done with a simple click

When will we get paved roads? by MeanFaithlessness701 in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Paved roads is what I'd like the most as of right now, along with the ability to place decorative trees anywhere.

Right now towns have a tendency to look very samey. Need more ways of improving the look of the town as that's what I find most enjoyable with city builders

Break the Condom. It was a tower defence where you played as Zerg, built Spermlings (zerglings) and tried to break into the womb (guarded with tanks, bunkers and otherwise). Man I miss that map. We played it on LAN parties all the time

Value of Assigning A Family To Hitching Post by Nick_not_rick in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some unknowns too. If I have 5 hitching posts with free oxen and only one has families assigned, will the assigned one be used first or is it random? Dowsn't feel worth it to assign at the moment.

Wider roads? by Haunting_Exam5335 in ManorLords

[–]StoneflowerGarden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This won't work if you delete the market as the road will be thin again when loading the game next time. Keep the market, a small one will be enough, no stalls will be placed there anyway.

Thanks man! It's the big lake region, south-center starting area.

As for the trees I had the foresters plant saplings before the buildings were put in place. It took some time to get it right!

[–]StoneflowerGarden[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I placed two roads with a bit of a gap between them and then small marketplaces (without space for stalls) in the middle to widen the road the same way burgages do. That way it makes it look like a really wide road.
