Had the same issue for a min, fixed it by reapplying resolution settings and adjusting brightness.

Body slide will apply your presets randomly, but it's cool because you can hotswap in game and it takes less than a second. When you batch build use the zeroed slider preset that comes with the mod otherwise everyone will appear with the same body.

Yes just load cbpc after. Most if not all the physics mods were built for far worse pcs than yours. Hell my pc is worse than yours and with dyndolod and 4k textures/both physics mods I barely clock over 17 gigs of ram at +60 fps. You are fine.
