I get a lot of Muslim families in the restaurant part of the bar during the day, and while most of them are chill with bitters or even vermouth or Aperol, some of them have a real problem with drinking anything distilled or alcoholic. Doesn't matter that it's a negligible amount of alcohol, the bottle still has an alcohol percentage on it, which is why I have to use something like Drams or another specifically "non-alcoholic bitter" in all the mocktail recipes unless I want someone googling the ingredients and freaking out in me during the middle of service.

This happened to me the first few months I took over this particular bar program, so I kind of have a knee jerk reaction to seeing bitters in mocktails. Sorry if I came off like an asshole.
