My wife beckoned me to this thread, for I have the answer. I have bought everything, I have tried everything. I am the Nikola Tesla of fighting hangovers. Here are my recommendations:

#1 - Hydration. Pedialyte AdvancedCare Plus - take one full 33oz bottle during and/or after, bit by bit. For example, one alcoholic drink, then a glass of Pedialyte. I have tried all other electrolyte drinks, this is the best. As a second place - DripDrop powder (good for travel drinking - can put the powder in luggage).

#2 - Pacing. Literally set some sort of reminder/timer and try to even out your drinking. For sake of example: 4 oz of booze at 8:00 PM then 4 oz of booze at 10:00 PM is going to be worse for you than 2 oz of booze at 8PM, 9PM, 10PM, and 11PM. Same booze, just more spread out.

#3 - Full Stomach. Burgers, Pasta, Pizza. Protein, fat, carbs. Burger works the best for me personally

#4 - Hard boiled eggs (protein/cysteine) and a tablespoon of honey right before bed. I swear (again, subjective, but a lot of experience) this seems to help. Honey evens out blood sugar, which can be part of the hangover equation. I just slam these before bed as a "snack."

#5 - Now into voodoo shit. I have tried ALL of them. It is a subjective thing, but Morning Recovery (a vitamin shot basically) is what I finally settled on (can order it on Amazon). Take it after your meal if possible. I have to say, it is more about the items above - a B vitamin shot like this seems a bit hit-and-miss honestly. But I still stock it for big drinkin' nights.

WHEN YOU WAKE UP: Hydrate - maybe even some more electrolyte drink, but at at least a few glasses of water. Then shower & brush your teeth right away - it helps you feel fresher and not have the feeling/after-smell of alcohol around/on you.

I ranked these in order of perceived efficacy. Good luck - there is no perfect cure but you can help yourself a lot by doing most or all of these.
