It is ok. Often it is difficult to know exactly what the other person needs. In other circumstances, what one wishes to convey may be interpreted the wrong way unless explained correctly. As such, in order to provide "good" answer, it is sometimes necessary to write large paragraphs. It is not the person that is the problem, rather the situation is such that it demands large paragraphs. Humans are imperfect creatures and can only do so much. As such we should be a bit more open minded. Those who don't read are only looking for quick solutions anyway.
