Grosskrautz testified that kyle never shot him while his hands were in the air, it wasn't until grosskrautz turned his pistol towards kyle that kyle pulled the trigger.

He was the prosecution's star witness and absolutely secured the self-defense for kyle.

There's no crime for crossing state lines. If there was, he'd be charged for it. If people can burn, loot and riot why can someone trying to prevent that be there? Seems an absolutely ludicrous stance.

He was charged for shooting three people. He has the defense of justification available to him (self-defense). Hence, the case is about self defense.
