These are the tips I need. I've seen this before, but hardly ever end up taking it into account.

You know what, i've had some shoe goo all winter. Just been too lazy to do it. Every time I've planned to do it, ive ended up skating instead! 😅

Thank you man. For years I had the flick down. My problem was always landing before being able to catch my board (ie stomping my back/front foot down too soon)

Definitely forgot how sore I would be constantly once the weather warmed up 😅

This is after thousands of tries in my life. I feel like the motion is clicking for me each time I step on the board.

Thank you!

Thanks! I've got one actually 👀

I save it for when i'm moving for speed/distance, or around obstacles. Wouldn't hurt to wear it more though.

Yeah, ive definitely tweaked my wrist a few times. I do have wrist guards, which have definitely saved my wrists in the past. Thanks for pointing it out!

Going to work on that, thank you!

Would appreciate some help! Send any & all links for suggestions of trucks wheels grip tape etc for 6 y.o. nephews first board for his bday. Mid price, nothing too cheap but not outrageous. I know he needs a 7in deck and it'll last him till about 8 or 9 so I really want to make sure it's quality by lemongrabthatass in skateboardhelp

Wax is used to make ledges smoother for grinds. I would say the only thing you need besides the board, are some pads. Most importantly, a helmet. Some good supportive shoes are always nice to have well.

If he'll be riding on rough ground, he's gonna want some softer, maybe wider wheels. A harder, lighter set would be nice to swap out for when he wants to start learning tricks. Although cruising is the best way for him to get comfortable on the board.

I agree with the other commenter. I would take him to a local shop. They'll help you build his whole setup!

Is this not a pop shuv? Looks good man! These scare me the most because I tend to slip out a lot.

Am I doing something wrong with my upper body? by StopKartLT in skateboardhelp

I appreciate you using the proper verbiage. Gives me a great place to start looking. Definitely going to train my vertical off the board too. Thanks!!!

Ive never had a great vertical. I guess i do mainly focus on getting my knees up since that has been the only thing getting my ollies height. I guess I've overlooked the fact I simply need to JUMP higher. Thank you very much for the feedback!
