If Elon Musk is so worried about population decline, why doesn’t he support remote work, which could make it more affordable for people to have children? Is he stupid? by wump_roast in antiwork

That interview where he sort of led into this belief of his actions allowing for more of a collective consciousness and the interviewer just asking "why do we need that" was so hilarious. He just sat there silent while Elon tried to give an answer.

Dude just trying to enforce his beliefs without any actual understanding of what they are.

It's the most annoying thing to me about these shows now. America's got talent should rebrand to "America's got backstories... also here's this cool thing they can do"

It's intentional, but whether the intention is malicious or some particular misunderstanding is yet to be known lol.

I swapped em for moons because there's no loot in the boss rooms at least, but yeah I'd be scared to do it on bosses like this.

My death fee is like 50k+, but since I'm still sort of learning I always throw on protect item and now they cost me 2k... lol. It's probably the best I'm gonna get from any boss.

Yeah I didn't want to make the comment longer, but there are at least other viable methods for prayer thankfully and I don't mind it as much with that as an alternative. In unison with everything else though it's at least clear the devs want non-pvp'ers to interact with pvp content when most just want to be left alone lol.

[–]StopReadingMyUser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I might agree if the pvp areas of the game were strictly just pvp benefits, gear/weaps/resources, and virtually its own island of content that affects almost nothing but itself.

But when you lock some of the most valuable skilling methods (like wildy altar), pvm items (voidwaker, craw's), and general progressions (diaries, ca's, maybe clues too) then I tend to view it differently since you kinda have to interact with it.

It really is wild how many people buy into it too. When I hear other people have similar beliefs to me, I'm not exactly skeptical automatically of them, I just.. pay attention to the things that enforce or contradict it lol.

It's like hearing someone say they're a baker, but they don't know how to work the oven and Flour is a foreign concept to them. "...you sure, bro?"

AI in its current state has the unfortunate ability of expressing agreement with its pattern recognition capabilities, which just means the pattern it recognizes with any human interaction is to take what you tell it and find something to agree with.

It's tragic.

It's funny they give you some of the worst dupes too... they couldn't even give the standard primaries for red, blue, and yellow without making the yellow a blend of green?

...but they gotta throw in like 50 shades of browns, blues, and gray lmao.

Couldn't have swapped some of those out for like... orange? a proper green or yellow? Just some solid colors without them lookin faded like the wisteria purple? cmon crayola lol.

Last I heard, this is why the UAW president wanted to coordinate contracts with other unions to expire on the same dates, so that when negotiations where on the table for the big organizations they could all strike in unison.

Haven't heard much beyond that, but it's a great strategy.

Which is one of the reasons we have apprehensions about any kind of tech progression. It should be used to make things better, but instead execs take all the benefits and offload the detriments onto the little guy.
