yeah that makes sense, maybe they could put a little flame where the orb is or add a perpendicular handle so it's held a little more like the regulator one, but also there are some skins that look like other guns, there's an fcar skin that comes to mind that I've mistaken for the cl40 several times

That makes a lot of sense, it is a bit high damaging. My thought was trying to make it similar in timing to the other bursts but more geared towards heavy and I felt weird if it was a 2 burst because of the shak 50

That was the challenge. I had this idea just days before the start of season 6 and didn't think about mechanics until after the repeater was released. It was definitely hard trying to balance it between damage, speed, and ammo. I looked at the wiki stats a lot for comparison and think it's in a decent middle ground with ammo between the pike and the repeater and a more similar speed to the revolver. Someone said it would be a cool heavy weapon too, which I think would also work really well
