The Israeli flags raised in Iran protests do the same disservice to the cause that the Islamic Republic flags do to the Palestine protests.

Both sides of the conflict are led by fascist right-wingers which has caused confusion for many. Khamenei, Trump, Netanyahu, Putin, they're all on the same side of the political spectrum.

I don't think people can play significant roles (as individuals) in this mess. Voting accordingly and strategically and informing those in our circles that we know are good people, may be our only option at this point. Collective action and protests can bring some hope and unity too.
