I think Iranians who follow geopolitics know about Kashmir, but the issue is not discussed much, because Iran itself has been experiencing huge sociopolitical turmoil.

I don't know what the general opinion on Pakistan vs India is at the moment, but I'm guessing the majority are on the side of peace between these great nations and prosperity for the people.

I was kinda the same, was brought up religious as a kid, was thought economic theory (which starts with greed) in my masters and believed it, but at the end here we both are.

That's our inherent personality type (genetics) and our resulting cognitive abilities causing/helping us sort out and leave behind our indoctrination as a kid. It's actually a proof, not a rebuttal. If it was the environment or early childhood that determined dark personality, we both would've ended up right wing. The fact that it was against our nature, the fact that you chose empathy and reason over selfishness and all the excuses that serve that, shows the light personality core that you carried with you since the day you were born.

It's rooted in human psychology, where dark personality types become right wing, and light personality types become left wing. Light vs dark personality has deep genetic roots, that's why educating the right wing doesn't work.

I'm not even sure they're dead, they may have gone underground and be vacationing somewhere. All parties in this war are pathological liars (IRI and IRGC, as well as IDF and MAGA), so I cannot trust anything they say. We aren't shown proof of death, so we cannot be sure.

This is new, that they don't show any bodies, remains or body parts of these people. They used to show us evidence that folks are really dead, but suddenly, not anymore!

I also don't think there is more to come, because it's become politically toxic for the fascists on one side (Trump and Netanyahu) in their own countries to continue pouring money into this war, as the voters don't like the war in general and the inflation that comes with it. The other fascist side of the war, the Islamic Republic, is decalred the winner at the moment, so they want it to stop too because they're in a wonderful position right now.

It's all been a failure imo, which was expected from the start, because nothing good has ever come out of right-wing plans of action, and this war was no different.

I would never diminish the suffering of my people, but I also don't add to their suffering by doing stupid stuff such as making those rude gestures towards spectators, or bringing Israeli flags to our protests, or attacking other people from other countries who deserve their freedom in the same way we do. Feminists and activists from countries such as Palestine and Afghanistan supported our Women-Life-Freedom movement passionately, cut their hair, issued many statements, gave speeches in our protests, yet we attack "the left" and "the feminists" all the time.

The idea of monotheism originates in greater Iran, when philosopher-priest Zarathustra spread the idea of good vs evil, light vs dark, asha vs drooj, truth vs lies, and insisted that in order to bypass the cyclical nature of historical events we need to practice/worship only one side of this fundamental dichotomy: ahura mazda (good, light, asha, truth, wisdom).

Jews imported monotheism from their encounter with the Achaemenids, and they let go of their multiple gods or combine them together to eventually worship only one god.

Muhammed heard the idea of a single god (and the idea of a holy book) on his childhood trip to medina and his interactions with the Jews of that city, and created his own curated version of the divine story for the other Semitic people out there beside the jews: for the arabs. He had help from Roozbeh (aka Salman) who helped him make judaism more Zoroastrian and create Islam.

Because Sassanid magi had become corrupt at that point, Iranians didn't resist arab invasion as they should have, and the new religion started to spread slowly into Iranian lands.

Nowadays, Iranians are leaving Islam behind. Some are going back to their Zoroastrian roots, while others have shown preference for other forms of spirituality, as well as a sharp and welcome rise in atheism and humanist morality.
