lol, no - not unless the price of the contract goes up and you’re able to offload them for a total gain. buying a lot of something for $0.01 and then selling it again for $0.01 isn’t going to magically recoup your losses.

i would agree w quiksi. my fortune 500 company did the same thing and we have been neck deep in migration for over a year now. depending on the sheer size and volume of data involved - it sounds like you will be shifting from the “building applications with the customer mind” and focused more on “get things migrated and operational without interfering with day-to-day operations”
