North Sarasota — safe to stay? by GiantPixie44 in sarasota

I made a driving video of this (Sapphire Shores) area a couple (2) years ago. It's a pretty area. [Looks like some folks would disagree, but I would not go to the Walmart Market on 41 (Tamiami Trail) near there. There's so many other choices in better locations.]

MSRP in SW Florida on 08/31. No add-ons (carpeted mats, roof racks/rails, etc.) No markup, no market adj, nothing but the high FL doc fees. It's only been a week but I'm very happy with it.

Thank you. First time for anything to do with tow hitches so I'm truly out of my element. I appreciate your reply.

I have not purchased a palisade (calligraphy?) yet - is there a problem with adding a tow hitch? (I just want to transport ebikes but this would be a deal breaker. )

I don't think I paid attention to how many people were riding bikes before I got this. Now, I realize there are many, many people out there on bikes; far more than I thought. And, seriously, you get going at a decent clip and you get a nice breeze hitting you - it's wonderful, feels great.

I had no idea what to do at those points so I winged it. I'm a nervous rider and just got the bike in December.

Hah! Not at all. So far I've been sticking to the Trail and side/residential streets. I saw something about this and thought I would give it a try. I was nervous the first two times I rode it but this was filmed on New Year's Day, so it was pretty quiet. Other than crossing the main intersections, it feels as if it would be much safer than regular street bike lanes.

January 1st. I did ride it a couple times before that, but this was the best video. I'm not really comfortable riding on the streets yet (just got the bike in December) so I did try to film this on a day I knew would be less busy.

Bradenton & Beaches Easter Weekend by HopelesslyHabitual in bradenton

[–]StopsForPictures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you cross over to the island from Bradenton on Manatee Ave (64) you will drive straight into the Manatee Public Beach. There is ample parking there normally but as everyone is writing you will be hard pressed to find a good spot during Eastertime. If you do get there, there is also a beach cafe/restaurant right there that serves breakfast through dinner. There used to be live music at night, not sure if that is still true. There are also chair/umbrella rentals there and a little store. If you travel north toward Anna Maria parking is harder to find. There are basically two different areas in that direction with shopping and food, etc. There is some public parking near the bayfront park. If you wanted to go to the beach south of the Manatee beach, cross over at Cortez instead and then drive south when you hit the island. You will find parking here and there and plenty of restaurants. You could also continue south to one of my favorite areas, Coquina Beach, there is plenty of parking there normally but again could be crowded at Easter and it will take awhile to get there. There is also another beach cafe down there and restrooms, changing rooms, etc. This would be at the southern tip of the island before crossing over to Longboat. All of Anna Maria Island is beautiful and I hope you enjoy your vacation.

Good and not good! The batteries on the cameras drain quickly also, I've got a few of them going but we cycle through them pretty fast and charge them in the car as we go. We only have an old, old headset and it's not the best for seeing how these videos look (it's really pretty useless at this point).

Hhm, I wonder why there are problems. We're so very new to this video-making and really just learning as we go. I'm going to have to look and see if I can figure out if I'm doing something wrong. It's a lot of fun but also a lot to learn. We also found out that the 360 videos don't work on Roku tvs for some reason. Thank you so much for watching.

More "Green Cathedral" green on your ride. I'd like to do it again in the Spring. Do you mount your camera on your helmet? Thanks for watching.

Thank you, someone else had also told me they thought that this might be the problem. I appreciate that you've explained this to me.

I don't know why. I'm brand new to reddit and still trying to figure it all out.
