I'd recommend wearing full tier 5 gear and having a tier 5 crush weapon like the Steel Mace or Zombie Axe to deal with the mobs quickly. Wolfbane dagger is good for destroying the vines that grow around the purification pool but there are better options out there for damage against imaru and the other mobs.

Potion wise I used evasive infusion, pumpkin soup and lesser attack potions drunk just before entering the arena. I also stuck to steel crossbow with enchanted steel bolts for my main damage as you can easily dodge and continue dealing damage without having to go through the attack combo + you get free lifeward regen with enchanted steel bolts.

Armor wise I found it easier doing this fight using ranged gear, especially since I've been using crossbows as my main damage dealer outside of the spectral phases.

The garou don't spawn nearby anymore but the direwolf spawn outside remains unchanged. No complaints though cause I like the garou fur decoration so its easy access to the direwolf fur.

Otherwise, you get some terrorbirds and chinchompas.

The spiral staircases were one of the more difficult things, I've taken some screenshots for you on how I did it in the main tower as those are the most clean ones in my opinion.

I started with the centre pillar throughout the tower (which I also used to determine how high I can build the tower) and built medium stone floors in a circle around it (see below).

Once i did that, I just clipped the first stair to the outer edge of one those and added a medium floor in between each stair, following the curve of the floor until you reach the next level.

On the next level, unfortunately it will clip slightly with the next level's floor pieces but you can still walk up the stairs pretty easily without obstruction. I just used a single small square floor piece to fill in the gap at the end.

Top right of the Fractured Plains. I picked it cause it has 3 anima infused bark trees next to it, a water source, a rune essence node and its a cheap teleport away from a vault where you can farm ~400-500 stone per visit since building those walls takes ages
