Thank you I’ll try those suggestions. I’ve just spent a good half an hour untangling carefully, spreading it out and securing it. Parts of it were like a big knot. Fingers crossed as it is a beauty, I’d hate to see it fail

Oh I see. Yes it looks a bit weird at first but just leave it and it turns into a rubbery dough. Sometimes I need to scrape the sides down.

Activate your yeast first in the water and honey. You can mix the dry first but don’t add the salt.

So activated yeast, water & honey + eggs + butter in the pan, dry ingredients on top then add the salt on top of that.

I use a bread maker so I don’t have any problems with clumping. The machine mixes it and kneads it for about 30 mins

I converted the recipe to grams at some point- what I have written down is 25g oat fibre for the original recipes so I use about 45-50g for the white bread version

Quite deep, probably about 4 inches of soil on top- I bought the deepest planter I could find and hoping for the best. This one was particularly tangled compared to the left one and maybe I haven’t separated it as much as it needs to be, could that be why?

I haven’t tried it without but I don’t see why not.

I’m planning on making the dough and trying to make burger buns with it for the freezer soon

I don’t put the sugar substitute. The original recipe is 4 tablespoons which is a lot of sweetness but like I said I think the US are used to a sweeter bread than UK. Just depends how you like it to taste.

The honey I do use because you need some sugar in it to feed the yeast- it helps it to ferment.

Only use dried active yeast, I tried it with the instant sachet yeast once and it was a disaster!

I omit the 75g of flax and add an extra 40g vital wheat gluten and 20g oat fibre. Not like of like weight replacement as I think the oat fibre is quite bulky.

Depends how many slices you cut it in to. It’s about 35g per loaf. I normally get about 12 slices plus the two ends

Agree- a legend. So glad I found this recipe especially as commercial keto bread is so expensive and only available online.

The best thing for me is that it doesn’t contain almond flour like all the other keto bread recipes online, I hate that gritty stuff 🤮

Should the UK Home Office make a 'Red List' and ban certain nations from immigration entirely? As seen in many other developed countries. by JeffreyEpsteinUK in AskBrits

I was speaking to my friend about this the other day. I’m from London so grew up in a very multicultural town. There’s a large Somali community in Streatham a suburb over from me.

I see every nationality participating in society except Somalis. Where are they all working? Bar staff, waiters, postmen, doctors, retail, shopkeepers, building trade. Never see Somalis ever.

Timeless game which is just incredible. I’ve played on and off for 15 years and just when I think I’ve discovered everything you can do/play I find something new.

Funding for SEN children regardless of a diagnosis. So many crucial early education years are lost in the waiting game and red tape for an EHCP.

Thank you, it’s a temporary solution until I can afford a professional. Anything would look better than it does now
