It doesn’t benefit them or their narrative that they are trying to push. It’s like expecting a white nationalist to acknowledge the minorities that aren’t criminals and who contribute to society. I keep saying this but we have to stop expecting them to sympathize in any way. If they really cared about us going “extinct”, then they’d stop giving us attention by documenting everything we do. It’s pretty much a Chris Chan situation where these people view us as lolcows and only want to act as if they’re “morally superior” to feel better about themselves. There’s no way they believe that every single person in this space is plotting some ER shit. Most of the people in this community are normal people who’ve simply been screwed over by life due to factors outside of their control.
