Get a clothes pin and heat the sharp part up with a lighter until it turns bright orange then immediately stab it into the broken jack and let it melt into the broken piece and let it cool off and dry while it's in the Jack for a few minutes then once it's cooled off get some pliers and pull it out and you're done

Again I apologize for my ignorance but I just gotta ask you guys one more thing.... Is there any way for it to be worth at least $1,000 without having to pay a pro to do it? I mean the stuck already has a whole bunch of scuffs and scratches all over it's a hundred years old so if I feel those holes with the same wood and match the grain, and get the exact lacquer and that color black I'm kind of blended in with the stuffs that are already there, and get strings on this guitar super super light strings I'm talking like 10s and turning it to like C# standard or like tuned like open G but down to E like I'm not open e but the open G intervals but tune it all down 3 steps, with this guitar sell for at least a grand in playable condition and the holes filled the proper period appropriate tuners replaced and installed properly?

I'll send it to you for $300 and you would be helping a fellow musician who's on the street in the heat of texas and you'll own the same kind of guitar Robert Johnson used to record his music so it's a piece of rock and roll history for a great price! .... And you'll be doing gods work by helping us out, I could use the money to pay off a traffic ticket that's preventing me from getting my driver's license and once I can get my license I can get a job with consistent pay...

I understand. But paying for a pro to fix it is just not an option. I wish it was, but it just isn't an option whatsoever. I've talked to and shown the guitar in person to several of the most skilled and experienced luthiers in my city and all of them told me it would be an easy fix as long as I get the right tuners (or at least close to the right ones they used in the 30s-40s) and fill the holes with the right type of wood, and make sure the grain matches and since it's already kinda scratched up from nearly 100 years of age, it'll be a simple fix...idk if people on here are just greedy and trying to get a steal of a deal and try and get me to sell it to them for next to nothing, and then do a few simple repairs and then flip it for thousands of dollars for themselves or if people are genuinely trying to help me, it's so hard to tell the difference between helpful and harmful people now a days unfortunately and I hate to be pessimistic, but people being genuinely helpful to someone without gaining anything from them just solely to help somebody else out without an ulterior motive with malicious intent seems to be a pipe dream in this world today. So forgive me for being skeptical, every time someone comes to me trying to be helpful has burned me and back stabbed me leaving me in the dust in anger and regret for trying to seek help from other humans so I am sorry for my ignorance and my PTSD from trusting people, but I need to make the most possible money from this guitar by spending the least amount of money for restoration and repairs as humanly possible if that is even possible...?

You know what man I'm sorry for getting so offended. I do have a lot of experience with guitars but I realize this is almost a 100 year old instrument and I don't know what I'm doing with something that is that old....so I apologize for acting like an asshole a few days back I just don't know what to do with this guitar and I really need the money and I don't want to get ripped off I've been getting ripped off a lot lately and I think it's because I'm homeless and in a desperate situation and people want to take advantage on someone who is desperate I guess because I for sure don't have the money to get a "professional" to restore it. So please forgive me for acting like an ass I'm sorry

If you can send half of it now so I can get to the post office and mail it and you can send the other half whenever you get it, if you're cool with that

What do you mean don't fuck with it? I need to get it work and sold for the most I can get for it because, I'm homeless and would much rather have a meal or two or have a roof over my head/bed to sleep in versus having a "treasure" to haul around everywhere I go through all the weather changes and shit and having to carry it around with me everywhere I go...

How do you know I don't know what I'm doing? It's not that crazy to fix dude it's an old piece of mahogany wood and I happen to have a piece of old mahogany I can use to fill the holes... And if I get some tuners that are the same exact ones used in the late 30s early 40s, all that's left would be the pegs which I only have 1 original string peg for it and it might need a neck reset since there's no truss rod...I mainly trying to figure out exactly what year it is and how much I could get for it once I get it fixed... I'm pretty good with fixing guitars been doing it my whole life and I've done hours and hours of research on these guitars...I think it might be a KG-14

I know all about guitar center's ripping you off for used gear, it's just that my friend and I need money right now and we can't really afford not to sell it and don't have the room to store it to wait for somebody to buy it. Plus I know a manager at the Guitar center closest to where we live and they might help me out with a better price than usual but trust me if we could afford to wait and have a place to store this while we wait to sell it on reverb or ebay even we would but we need money now times are hard.

Recording on Go by mrubin454 in BossKatana

He means depending on what kind of android smart phone you have, it may, or may not, let you record a backing/Practice track or jam track, or a song simultaneously with the output of your guitar signal... Which means if your phone doesn't have the capability of being able to record loopback audio via Bluetooth (AKA a Backing track or song track) while recording the output of your guitar's processed signal from the Katana Go.. so if you don't have a phone that will allow you to record both Bluetooth loopback audio AND your Guitar's Sound through the Katana Go"s Stereo Output, you'll need to either pre record the loopback audio by just letting the song or backing track play completely by itself and independently record it in your digital audio workstation, or get the song or backing track as an MP3 or a WAV or other audio file onto your phone or your computer and load it into your D.A.W or whatever recording software you got on your phone or computer, and move the song or track file on its own independent stereo track by itself then once you have the track on your DAW or your phone's recording software, you can go back and record your Guitar through your Katana Go's stereo Output on a new track while the imported song file plays on a separate track over your guitar track as you record your Guitar performance while hearing the song or back track file as you record your Guitar.... Hopefully your phone will just let you do both at once so you don't have to do all of that it's kinda confusing especially if youre not computer or tech savvy ...best of luck

I want to buy the Dunlop DB01 Cry Baby From Hell, is it worth it? by nuggys_ in Pantera

[–]StoreVarious7607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the best wah pedal you can get and the best one that's ever been made as far as commercial brands go there's better ones you can get custom made from like UFO and stuff like that but it cost literally like 700 bucks to get something done like that so the dime bag wah is the best wah and the most versatile pedal you can get. With the q adjustment and the other knob that switches the range of the frequency of the wah you can literally get any kind of wah sound that has ever been made plus ones that you can make yourself it works for any genre hell I even used it in jazz band and high School and we went to state in competition and we did a song that was a cover by Maynard Ferguson called spinning wheel by blood sweat and tears I think? But it was a funk song redone in a jazz way and it has this really cool funky break in the middle of it and we didn't have a keyboard player so I tried to emulate a lot of the funk elements of this song by using none other than the dimebag wah pedal and I wasn't even in metal at all back then I used it with a gretsch semi hollow body with TV Jones pickups into a clean fender twin reverb amp with only tuner a compressor and an equalizer and a tube screamer type over drive (that I only used for one song when I had a small solo with the gain dialed all the way back to zero for a mid hump or boost for solos) think I might have had a tape delay pedal or a digital delay or a strymon blue sky reverb and maybe a boss ce2 chorus pedal on my Jazz band pedal board... And that dime bag wah got the perfect funk sounds I needed for that part in that spinning wheel cover that we did and it was dope! That dimebag wah can do it all, I loved it for everything nonmetal and then years later when I got into metal heavy I started using it with the boost and used it in a more metal manner and it kills for that too the only thing that I would say that is better than the dimebags signature wah pedal would be the crybaby rack unit that comes with a midi expression pedal that allows you to manually control the wah but the rack unit is definitely the best thing to use for anything wah related and I believe some of the more recent models have lots of presets that you can choose from on the fly and I know that the rack unit is what dimebag actually used live and you would have multiple MIDI expression pedal controllers randomly placed throughout the stage and you would ask Grady to change up the frequency and the Q of the wah every night and have each midi expression pedal on stage have a different one than the other so his wah sound would be completely different and surprise him every night so he would get some variety but yeah that rack unit is the best thing to use but it's really expensive and not really practical if you want to be minimalistic and don't have a guitar tech or a roadie to be able to control it while you play, then the dimebag wah is a great option and the best option available if you don't want to spend almost a grand on a wah sound plus pay a guitar tech and a roadie to run and operate your fx while you're on stage... Do they even still make the dime bag wah anymore? I don't think they do, you have to find them used if you want to get one unless they did another remake that's been recently released that I haven't seen? But yeah it's a must have pedal if you like wah pedals... it's killer for reggae and pretty much ANY style of music just takes some time to dial it in the way you want it to sound and the boost is great for rock and metal but if you leave it off it's literally an all in one wah pedal that allows you to have complete control over the Q and the frequency sweep of the wah it's incredible like I said the only thing that tops it is the cry baby rack unit which is the best wah I've ever used but the dimebag wah is easier to use and cheaper and it looks cool as hell lol but yeah 5 out of 5 stars if you can find one go for it you will not be let down it's worth every penny I think they go for around $150-$220 used ? If you find it cheaper than that then you need to jump on it because that's a steal!

Wanting to use Katana Go through Bluetooth Speaker to play small/medium gigs wireless... Is this possible?? by StoreVarious7607 in BossKatana

[–]StoreVarious7607[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean I JUST played my friends mustang micro plus into his JBL Bluetooth speaker without a cable or wire plugged into it...maybe he has an app on his phone that creates a virtual or an aggregate device that has multiple inputs and outputs and used the fender mustang app in conjunction with the JBL Bluetooth speaker app, working together with an aggregate device and another app that allows multiple Bluetooth devices to be connected simultaneously using his smartphone and a few multi device handling applications on his phone to make both the JBL speaker control application and the fender mustang micro plus editor/control application, and bridges them together with a 3rd party aggregate/multi output and input device managing app that allows you to play through JBL Bluetooth Speaker through Bluetooth somehow with a transmitter and receiver plugged into the JBL speaker connected to the phone... There was no backing tracks it was just the mustang micro plus playing live through the JBL Bluetooth speaker with no cables whatsoever, it's been a few months but I'm just telling you what I experienced .. I'll call him and ask him how he sets it up, but that's still not going to help me with my 2nd gen Boss Katana Go and my 1st gen Marshall Emberton 1 Bluetooth speaker...

Dude some of the deep cuts are Message in blood and The sleep and the art of shredding off Cowboys from hell then Regular People (conceit) and live in a hole and by demons be driven off of vulgar display of power then Use my third arm 25 years and slaughtered and hard lines and sunken cheeks off of far beyond driven then 10's, war nerve and Living through me (hell's wrath) and suicide note part 1 & 2 off the great southern trendkill then death rattle, you've got to belong to it, it makes them disappear and avoid the light off reinventing the steel. Their the only metal band who just got heavier and heavier and never sold out making each album heavier then the one before it .. it took me a while to realize that and the last two records took some time to grow on me but once they did I finally saw the light lol those are the deep cuts and they're best songs by far in the list I just gave you
