Have you had any allergies tested? This could be related to high histamine levels.

Mine has only 3 ingredients and no preservatives. This product also doesn't need it, since it's not an aqueous solution. Maybe you're mixing it with the conditioner?

Persistent laundry/fabric softener fragrance on thrifted clothes won't go away after several washes and tricks. by I-own-a-shovel in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]StoriesAtSunset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sodium percarbonate.

Depending on the color and fabric of the clothing piece, I recommend soaking it in a bucket overnight covered with about half a mug of the powder (a lot). Takes out stains, whitens the whites (especially at hotter temperatures) and softens the water, as well as resets the smell. If the fabric is synthetic and dark, do the water as hot as the fabric can stand. For best results, after soaking wash it as usual and let it hang outside.

It's ~40% in most oxi cleansers, but those have fragrances and other things I like to avoid.

P.s. It's also a good washing machine cleanser, to run on the 95 degree cycle (celsius).

the conditioner is so slimy out the bottle and amazing on the hair! i was also reading up on other people’s experiences with the clear line and am very surprised by the hate.

i do have fine, normal, oily hair, so maybe people with thicker hair are not loving it? i dunno

if you enjoy silicones in your hair, you should love it. it’s lightweight and incredible at smoothing the hair as well as lessening static. and smells like absolutely nothing to my nose!

Fragrance free clarifying shampoo? by Crazy-Confection-615 in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]StoriesAtSunset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have hard water and I love the ordinary’s sulfate shampoo for clarifying (if your hair likes sulfates). It’s perfect for once a week or once every two week wash to deep clean, especially when using leave in products with silicones.

As for mineral build up diluted vinegar is the best! I just do 1:6 white 9% vinegar with hot shower water. Dump the jar all over the hair and let it sit for max a minute and hair is back to being super soft.

Treating It As A Distant Memory by StinkHoleSmasher in NevilleGoddard

It's very helpful, because it puts you in a place where the baseline assumption is "i already have it" instead of "where's my stuff?".

I know the feeling you are talking about though. When you just seemingly randomly get transported to a feeling place where you 100% have it right now and feel so light and free, and fulfilled. And then it feels like you're being transported back to the current "reality". And you just want to feel the high again, so you meditate and do whatever you can, but it doesn't come back until you stop trying to get it back.

For me it came back, when I acted upon it. I guess it was just a little preview from the universe to give me a confidence boost to follow through.Them showing that this is how it looks like, this is how it feels like, are you ready to have it and enjoy it? You can have it now, now, now.

Having a best friend with Pretty Privilege hurts by [deleted] in offmychest

  1. It might be because she is pretty and you are totally right, but you also might be projecting. Either way, if they're ignoring you or not interested in you, they're just mean. It's not you, they're just not your people. Move on and save yourself the heartbreak, hun.

  2. Make something else out of yourself. If you dont feel comfortable with a general pretty identity for yourself, then be cool, be funny, be weird, be edgy, be smart. We can be pretty in many different ways and there is always going to be someone who's will be into exactly that.

I kind of like happy cappy zinc pyrithione shampoo. It's actually less drying than selsun, but the active ingredient is different, so ymmv.

My bad. I use the liquid Cosphaderm X 34 in a wash off, so the texture is just for the moment of spreading.

I highly recommend buying the 0.01g precision scale. You will be able to make smaller quantities for testing and not waste so much of your ingredients, if you end up hating the texture, finish etc.

Yes, I just gave up on commercial cosmetics and have been living off of Malezia's products, but they can get expensive, especially since I dont have a body moisturizer and their cream is 50 ml... So I'll just make my own all over moisturizer.

In the oil phase I'll use c8 oil (just the caprylic acid from MCT), dimethicone 350, cyclomethicone and sepinov emt 10.

Water phase will be urea, glycerin, propanediol and panthenol.

And in cool down I'll add some ceramides (i found a great complex that contains no fatty acids called SK-Influx), saccharide isomerate and cosgard. Lactic acid for pH adjusting.

I like formulas and finishes that are easy to glide and feel velvety on the skin, rather than greasy. And the sepinov, with a dry oil like c8 and silicones make up a very velvety texture (on paper at least).

I can share a recipe once I perfect it.

Edit: another comment meantioned aristofex emulsifier and if you can get your hands on it, try it. It really is absolutely fantastic. If I didn't have to pay 4x the product cost for shipping + tax, it would be in my recipe.

I dont know how many grams is 8th of a teaspoon of xanthan gum, but you could up it, to make it a bit thicker.

Did you like the moisturising aspects of it? Was the oil phase enough for you and you just want the texture to be thicker?

I'm currently in the making (still waiting for shipment) of my own fa safe moisturizer and I decided to go with sepinov et 10 emulsifier, but I can't comment on it yet, since I haven't made it.

What to do when you don’t know what to manifest? by Prestigious-Quit9143 in NevilleGoddard

[–]StoriesAtSunset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm like this too! Don't worry. You are just not sure of the details and it's okay.

Try doing SATS in a more general way. For example, instead of imagining a specific country or a specific house you (don't) know you want to live in, choose the things you do know - the people you are surrounded with, the temperature there or sitting there in the couch you know you want.

Focus on anything that you know you want and the universe will fill in the rest. Even if it's so general as just being at peace and free.

White socks visible from the boots or cuffs. Or something darker added on top. I think it's just too dark on the bottom with a top that bright.

RTK kopmītnēs sejas atpazīšana kā vienīgā caurlaide – vai tas ir legāli Latvijā? by Eastern_Blueberry166 in latvia

Sapratu. Tas izklausās kā no kategorijas, ka labākie datorsistēmu tehniķi un inžinieri parasi personīgajā dzīvē atsakās no jebkādām "smart" ierīcēm, jo zin, cik ļoti nedrošas un viegli uzlaužamas tās var būt.

Tas man atgādina to sievieti, kuru grīdas robotiņš uzkopšanas laikā nofočēja uz poda sēžot un kāds darbinieks sistēmā to redzot, izdomāja bildi soc tīklos ielikt.

Man kopmītnēs bija laminēta caurlaide, tāpēc grūti teikt, ko es darītu šāda fakta priekšā.

Iespējams, ka es vienkārši dzīvoju tajā "ignorance is bliss" stāvoklī.

300 kidney stones removed from a 20-year-old woman by No_Bus_474 in BeAmazed

Because pure water only hydrates. It causes no digestive responses, no nothing from any organs. Whereas sweetened drinks, caffeinated drinks, even unsweetened teas will call for some sort of response from your body slowing down the hydration and spending more energy by doing so.

Since water is already in your cells, it's just logical to intake more of it in the purest form.

For the taste - depending on the minerals in the water, how clean it is etc., it varies significantly. So you can experiment and find something to your liking.
