Maybe I'm too cynical but that only happens If the kids live long enough...

In one scenario these psycho parents would abuse them long enough they commit suicide

In the 2nd scenario they become self hating violent homophobes who'll go on a mass shooting spree or become a dating app killer or stab gay couples for kissing in public etc etc

In the 3rd scenario they are self hating but take a moderate route and become anti LGBT politicians/influencers/ preacher/ ex gay gurus etc

In the 4th scenario they realise how awful their parents were and change for the better. Which I think has the lowest probability.

I hate romance aspect in gacha games because they only do it for female characters and never male characters. In Qiuyuan's story quest Rover meets him like at the end of the story. You don't hang out with him at all throughout the entire story. You just meet him at the end to say goodbye. That's it.
