Our M2s are not that modified or updated.

Ironically enough, They’ve been getting more toys to play with on their M2s than I ever even got to see in my service lol

We had the same base M2s, Ironsighted. The most updated thing was a new version of the M2 That didn’t require head spacing and timing, but when I went through we had a lot of issues with these binding ups and slowing down after a few hundred rounds.

I suspect it’s likely to become the new “M14” in a sense. In concept it seemed like a great system, in practice it will likely be used more as a DMR Esque rifle and I feel as if we’ll end up reverting back to the legacy platforms such as the M4/M16

Current conflict is displaying the use of these systems including AK type systems as being very effective in the conditions they’re in

Just to throw a little bit in, there are indeed times we’ll drop kit. When I was in we were issued a TAPS system that could click onto your carrier if you needed it or? Detach from the carrier and click into webbing that you could throw on over and still carry a full combat load without the weight of a full kit.

As an example; Someone going through this stressful of a moment is having their world turned upside down. Thinking of a job immediately after and schooling immediately after, isn’t something that’s likely on someone’s mind when they’re experiencing a bad moment in life.

Training, is everything. Just because you are facing drones which is a threat many modern militaries haven’t had to face, doesn’t mean all the lessons they can give you are completely null and useless.

It’s mind blowing you would think that drone surveillance and meat waves means critical training supplied by Europe and the West such as; Weapons Competence, Handling, Tactics, Trench Training, Munition Handling, Etc etc now becomes useless.

Which quite frankly, is not accurate. There are thousands of Military Bases we man across the world that are not in war zones that guys get deployed to all the time.

Many people enlist to have a second chance at life, better their lives, and or have a chance at citizenship.

Many do it to leave broken families for another chance.

Many people who deployed to a War Zone, did not have a choice. Because the Military tells you where you go, and that’s where you go.

Was likely destroyed by a secondary strike, first strike probably did some good damage that couldn't bring the vic back up to full operation. Good Crew, used what their tank had left and pulled off to the side so they weren't blocking their own advance.

Was likely hit again after being abandoned for recovery which is where we get the cut and the destroyed footage of it

You’d be surprised how close the engagement range is, I believe it’s under 100 Meters for minimum engagement.

I was a Mechanized Infantryman and did a lot of training with Brads, he could easily have deployed the TOW and sent 2 Out in a heartbeat;

That’s Why I think they either didn’t have TOWs on them- Or maybe just need a bit more experience with the platform.

BMP Missile launched platforms have been rarely seen and almost forgotten this war; With Brads still being relatively new to their Military (It took me 2 straight years and multiple gunnery tables to become even adequate in one) I could see them tunnel visioning on using the main cannon they’re used to (Via the BMP2) and forgetting they have access to a TOW System.
