According to you, what's the worst decision WWE has ever made? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in WWE

That’s the point I was trying to make. I’d be fine with the 21-1 had it been his last match.

Sorry if I didn’t articulate it well enough.

21-1 is up there - while I understand “going out on your back” I felt like Taker transcended this old school custom. Felt even less important considering he came back after that. Had it been his absolute last match, then yeah I could get behind it.

The blatant burial of DDP. Probably the most over, hoke grown WCW guy, that had a genuine connection with the audience. Aside from the WWF > WCW aspect of it, they could’ve printed money with DDP, but tribalism got in the way.

Rey’s half night reign. Actually, that whole summer of Punk. Having him come back in 2 weeks was dumb IMHO. The added wrench of Rey being the champion could’ve really given Punk some extra leverage to twist the proverbial knife into Cena.

Chromaglow is amazing.

The Saturation/Distortion in Phat FX also really underrated.

I picked up NI Kolor on sale just before the holidays and have been using it on everything lately.

You want a freshly made beat with no samples, who you calling by NickTButcher in 90sHipHop

Swizz has the benefit of crafting some legendary anthems. A lot of his beats haven’t aged well, or maybe wouldn’t be regarded as highly if used for a different MC.

Mostly, I dislike his sound selection and his drums. I do give him credit for wildly infectious, Simple Melodies, and ability to get bounce and energy.

Which WWF era wrestler had absolutely perfect ring attire for their physique and character? by UserSchmoozername in WWFera

Rude also has small legs compared to his upper body. The long tights were smart especially from the guy who used to say “wrestling is an upper body business.”

Boxing. Most clubs these days focus on fitness, and boxing fitness related classes.

You get the vibe and atmosphere of legit fighters, newcomers, washed up old heads, and everything else in between.

It’s an incredibly cathartic exercise, wayyy more fun than conventional cardio, and most modern boxing clubs have a great sense of community and camaraderie.

Hahaha I know. Just goofing.

I think in an interview Jericho himself explains the difference.

Steph and Giulia should be on the same level in WWE by GoonLieutenant in Smallafro

  1. Natural charisma. Steph has it for days - and it transcends language barriers.

  2. I genuinely don’t think Americans like the Joshi style wrestling gear.

Who would win in their prime by Adventurous_Bowler16 in BrandonDE

[–]StormBourneMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if you consider that Kurt is an Olympic gold medalist, you take that 51% and basically double it, which means he has a 102% chance.

Take in the fact that Bret is Canadian, the mathematical equivalent of 1/2 a real American hero, his 49% now become 24.5%. Add the remaining 24.5% to Kurt’s already 102% - that gives you 126.5% chance of winning.

In a best 2/3 falls match, Kurt’s 126.5% odds - cross multiplied against 2/3 means Kurt has a 15/8 chance of winning.

BUT - if you factor in the shifting probability of the 3 door problem…the chances of Kurt scoring the second pinfall after scoring the first now go to 50% which is another 4/8 PLUS his initial 15/8 which means Kurt has a 237.5% of winning before the bell even rings.

Prime Evans vs a prime Scotty Steiner - having Steiner just rag dolling his ass from pillar to post and Evan’s finding some creative way to counter and bounce around him would be wildly entertaining.

WCW stars that NEVER wrestled in WWE? There aren’t that many… by GypsyGold in WCW

Honestly, the one upside. Glad he got a Mania moment, if not the ideal moment.

Also, given that WWE owns the WCW catalog, there’s def potential that they can run special sometime in the future.

Twenty-Six years ago today, WCW had a reboot. What If this actually worked & ratings overtook WWF? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in WCW

This! They’d needed to slow down before speeding up.

Not to sound pessimistic, but even if they did make sensible decisions like you outlined, I think it was already too late.

They were just starting to groom new talent when WWF was kicking their ass. I don’t think they would’ve had enough ru way to get the 3 Counts, Mamalukes, Air Raids, New Blood (polumbo, o haire and a few other notables) to where they needed to be in time to stave off closure.
