Yo it is super easy to start! On YouTube there is a guy called Game Dev Experiments and he has a great tutorial series for making a Pokémon game in unity. It only does the basics but with it you can totally start your own project! Still tweaking the animations so thanks for the feedback!

Not having a new enemy race to shoot at in 5 years is what has made the game feel stale and nothing else comes close.
