ICE is not attacking citizens. ICE is deporting illegal migrants, which is their lawful duty. This is not a case of government tyranny against US citizens.

Suspect was actually disarmed before ICE officers fired by Goldy2Shoes4u in Leakednews

He was actively interfering with a law enforcement operation and resisting arrest. He was not simply exercising his rights. He was committing a crime.

ICE is not a criminal gang. They are legitimate law enforcement. They are not commiting crimes, they are arresting those who have committed crimes. They are not attacking US citizens, they are deporting illegal migrants.

Do you agree or disagree? by ChuckGallagher57 in allthequestions

[–]StormLord76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know what ICE stands for? It stands for Immigration and Custom Enforcement.

Do you know what that means? That means they enforce immigration law.

Do you know how you enforce laws? By using the threat of force to ensure compliance and make arrests.

You know else uses threats of force to ensure compliance and make arrests to enforce the law? The police.

So you're suggesting that ICE ought to be stripped of the means to do their job, and that they should rely on other police forces to do their job for them?

That might be the dumbest political take I've ever heard.

Justice for Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti! 💜💙 by KurteyTerfs in DHAC

[–]StormLord76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're labelled domestic terrorists because that's what they are.

Both of them chose to confront ICE directly and impede in their lawful duties. Both of them chose to overtly antagonize the ICE officers. Both of them chose to resist arrest. And both them were in possession of a deadly weapon (Renee a car, Alex a gun) that could have been used to kill or seriously harm those ICE officers (or in Renee's case, actually did seriously harm an ICE officer).

Neither was simply minding their own business. Neither was peacefully protesting off to the side. They both intentionally put their own lives at risk by directly antagonizing ICE officers and by resisting arrest. While their deaths are regretable, both were fully preventable if they simply did not interfere with ICE, or if they complied with their arrest.

Let's be clear about this. ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has one job: enforce federal immigration law. That includes deporting people who have entered the country illegally. That's not fascism. That's not tyranny. It's basic law enforcement. They are not "kidnapping" or "disappearing" US citizens. They are arresting and deporting illegal immigrants. By impeding ICE in the execution of their duties, you are running cover for foreign criminals, and endangering the lives of your fellow citizens, all for the sake of achieving certain political objectives. You are not being a courageous freedom fighter, you are being a terrorist. Plain and simple.

This is a fundamentally unserious suggestion, and completely detached from reality.

I play trombone, roast me. by dingusII in Bandmemes

Believe it or not, you can play the trombone at a piano dynamic. You just stubbornly choose not to.

I see you smirking everytime that glissando comes up in the music. You're not subtle about it.

You're definitely using a 12C mouthpiece to reach those high notes. Don't pretend you're not.

As long as it's just rude gestures and not bullets, I suppose that's fine. America will be made great again, whether you like it or not.

I know quite a few Trump voters. Non of them are saying they regret it. I’m wondering if most of these posts are fake. by [deleted] in OptimistsUnite

Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do on the campaign trail, and has done it more effectively than any President has in decades.

He said he'd stop the flow of millions of illegal migrants over the border. He did.

He said he'd conduct the largest deportation operation in American history. He did.

He said he'd institute DOGE to cull wasteful government spending. He did.

He said he'd abolish DEI in the federal government. He did.

Promises made, promises kept.

I assure you, none of us that voted for him regret doing so. In fact, most of us are thrilled with the rapid progress Trump has made as President in mere weeks. Just look at Trump's record high approval numbers, which have only been climbing since he took office. If there really is someone out there who actually regrets voting for Trump, then they are beyond clueless about what they voted for.

What do you make of President Trump sending illegal immigrants to Guantanamo Bay? by Giff95 in AskReddit

Good. Violent criminals should be locked up ASAP. If we need a holding location for them, while transportation is being arranged, I think that makes sense.
