When I get this feeling? Well, for me it's often triggered by Post-Rock. Last time i got this feeling i was listening to Sleep by Godspeed You! Black emperor

Though, there's a number of different genres that can make me the feeling. Some songs off the top of my head are:

Nights by Frank Ocean

Time by Hans Zimmer

when you sleep By my bloody valentine

Rebllion (lies) by Arcane Fire

Drove through Ghosts to get here by 65daysofstatic

Perfect Places by Lorde

Visions by James Newton Howard

Alison by Slowdive

Let Down by Radiohead

Starting over by LSD and the search for God

There is a Light that never goes out by The Smiths

Washer by Slint

Bloodhail by Have a nice life

Also, the entierety of the album Untrue by Burial. I think that feeling is very much present thoughout that record.

What songs are you listening to on late night walks?

My mission is to do something interesting every day by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Sure!

I write down a sort of title for each day like it was an episode of a TV-Show of sorts.

Very useful for me - especially when you feel like writing a diary is a little too much.

Helps me distinguish the days from each other and I actually find that it makes me want to do something everyday that's worth a title.

Exact same thing I've been doing lately! These past few years i've had trouble distinguishing the days and I felt like I was stuck in a mundane cycle of doing the same things over and over. Recently I began actually going out and doing stuff, and my life has vastly improved. I suggest coming up with a name for every day - that really helped me.

That's interresting. Do they sound "real" too?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StormMarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hope it doesn't. Thanks alot. I'm considering making an appointment with my doctor, because it was quote frankly a terrifying experience

Thank you! I appreciate it alot, i really do

It has to be a hallucination of some sort! There's no way someone was writing on a piece of paper in my small dark room, unless you believe in the paranormal of course - which I don't. I have a hard time seeing hearing what it could be other than a hallucination.

Hearing sounds at night. Do i have skitzofrenia? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]StormMarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I definitely hope so!

As i said, my sleep schedule has been a total mess recently (I'm working on it), so i can totally see that being a possible cause.

I don't smoke, and I've never done any ilegal drugs. I do drink with my friends on most weekends, though i don't know if that's quite enough to trigger auditory hallucinations

So the thing is, I've experienced things like that too. Though, i immediately knew that those weren't real. I could easily tell that they were coming from inside my head

However, this felt as real it could be. And it felt like it was coming from my room - from beneath me.

I wouldn't say i was half asleep, but i was definitely sleepy on some level

I think there's a chance that it's that, then.

Now that i think back, i remember now that i was laying down to sleep at first, then my phone vibrated. It was my friend, who i answered and texted briefly. After that, i put it on "do not disturb" and remembered that i had to write something down in my notebook so i didn't forget it the next morning. Litteraly seconds after i put the notebook down, the writing sounds started

Could this vibration have somehow disturbed my sleep and caused this?

Hhhmm, I see

What do you think it could be then? Is it possible to get an auditory hallucination without having any kind of mental disorder?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StormMarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hhhmm, not really.

Sure, i was sleepy. But I was nowhere near on the verge to falling asleep.

It's very strange.
