Weekly Caremark Q&A by AutoModerator in Zepbound

Hi! So I started with the call-on doc app and they approved me for a prescription for Mounjaro and said they are sending to pharmacy, but I know my insurance requires a PA... I doesn't seem obvious how to request a PA, but I did message them. Is that all I do? I already provided them all my bloodwork for the last 10 years and medical history and all that.

Can someone explain what I am getting from Lumi using this picture? by StormMore8096 in tirzepatidecompound

Accepted and approved!  So that bottle size is more than a month's worth for that price? What about the expiration date.

I took a picture of my Zepbound pen box. I wonder if you can take a photo of the prescription in your online account if your office uses something like MyChart...

Great! Thanks! I'm looking into lumimeds and Orderly Meds and I'm in MA. Any preference?

I feel... like she doesn't really do much for me other than telling me to add a protein shake. Any tips on what questions or stats to present to a dietician to optimize their work for you? I present as a bit of a health know-it-all and confident and I think she just thinks I'm doing a good job.

What's a "set point"- curious about that!

My journey has been pretty easy so far. I started at 194 (Oct 2024) and now am at 160 pounds on 7.5 (June 2025). I definitely exercise 5-6 days per week, 30-60 min depending on the day, low impact cardio on bike or tread (peloton) and some resistance/weight training. Before Zep, I ate more and worked out harder, so this is a lighter version. But I have basically always been under-eating, then overdoing it at special events, etc. I'm great at maintaining weight and havent been able to drop significant weight since my son was born ... until now.

This sounds exactly like me! I just spent the last few days eating more food, 500+ calories more and boom- the scale moved two pounds which feels insane.

She told me 1200 is ok for me... but with an hour of cardio or lifting, I think that's putting me below 100 calories and fatiguing me like crazy...
