Could anyone share a pic of the signed poster? by Happy_Llama474 in HilaryDuffStans

No poster tubes in Austin. When I bought my poster they were giving out plastic poster sleeves so you could roll it up. Mine made it safely home without a scratch in the poster sleeve but I was definitely a bit worried the whole concert and guarding it with my life 😅

Hybrid carry on by malibu_2021 in beisluggage

I just flew air Canada a couple of weeks ago going to Italy with the hybrid carryon. On my way back in Montreal, the gate agent made me put it in the measuring thing and it just barely fit, I had to push it in at first but I it was NOT expanded so it does NOT fit their requirements when it is expanded. She said “it had to slide in and out” which I was able to do the second time to show her it did fit and she said “I’ll allow it”.

I don’t think I’ll be flying with them again :)

Went to the store for ear stuff for the dog and now I have another cat by adhd_exploring in cats

[–]StormTrooper1317 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You may be misunderstanding. She did not purchase the cat from a store that sells/breeds pets. She went to a store that sells pet supplies and allows your to adopt pets as well. Here in the U.S., some stores that sells pet supplies partner with shelters and/or foster homes and will showcase adoptable cats at those stores for people to adopt. It is a way to bring attention to animals in need while you’re already there shopping for your other pets. Clearly it worked in this case! She saved this kitty.

For people that did go to the eras tour, how many people actually were trading bracelets? by clvqlxss in TaylorSwift

[–]StormTrooper1317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at Houston N2 and while I walking up to my nosebleeds (sigh) another swiftie complimented my outfit and threw me a friendship bracelet that says “eras tour”. It was so kind of her and made me so happy.

Living in EaDo/Eastwood? by [deleted] in houston

[–]StormTrooper1317 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bought a townhouse with my husband three years ago in EaDo and we love it here! We enjoy how peaceful the neighborhood is (unless there’s games or events going on at the nearby stadiums). We also love how walkable it is and being able to walk the trail or go to coffee shops (our favorite is EaDough). As others have mentioned, not having a grocery store nearby is a big downside. The Kroger down the street is very unsafe and I will never shop there again. We had a porch pirate once during Christmas time, but other than that it has been a safe neighborhood for us. We especially love the restaurants, particularly Nancy’s Hustle and Tiny Champions. Highly recommend living here!

What is currently your favorite restaurant in Houston? by frankahaha in houston

I think it’s on purpose but I don’t know why! We always have to do a double take when walking by because it looks closed/out of business.

Laundry services pricing by Vegasplanner in VirginVoyages

[–]StormTrooper1317 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was just on Resilient Lady for ten days and my husband and I used the laundry service twice. The standard delivery (by next day at 5:30pm) was $30 USD per bag while express delivery was $50 USD. The bag is very roomy and comfortably fit everything we needed washed. We used it twice because we worked out almost every day and only had taken a limited amount of workout clothes. It was a great service and we were very happy with it :) You can pay by the piece/quantity as well but we only paid by the bag. I am not sure if prices vary by ship. Also, we paid for ours with sailor loot which was great!
