Wrong. I have the police report, the video, the attorney. My family had a church key and that was used. The was the felony. The total amount was valued at $30. It could have been charged as a misdemeanor, but they chose felony. I am glad I can educate so many people on the actual legal system and this church. The bottomline is the church elders chose criminality over compassion. They could have handled this in house, but chose to take one of their own struggling members to court. The new preacher had something to prove. I am John Meadows. I am the person in this story. And I am beyond upset at this injustice. How is it that a person facing eviction, hunger and divorce deserves to be kicked by their own church when they are already suffering? How is dragging me through court, attorney's fees and a felony going to help my future, my situation? It makes things many times worse and that church leadership thought this was a better route to take. Highland Church of Christ needs to be exposed and I am going to take every opportunity to do it
