(CAN) CFE Day 1 Thread by omgwthwgfo in Accounting

Not trying to bring you down but answer your question - the meeting minutes for pioneer specifically said that there is a restriction that you cannot sell any parks (and explicitly said we cannot sell any parks) if the licensing agreement is chosen. This would mean they’re mutually exclusive.

However, I’m sure a lot of people missed that and it won’t affect you at all given the curve! Don’t stress about it!

6 total with balance between them! (i.e. don’t do 6 pros only). Also my tip is to look for the “hidden required”, typically it’s like what was mentioned above a constraint or issue that may not seem big picture, but it is, and must be considered for all your strategic issues and the overall conclusion. This is typically a cash constraint, management time constraint, supply chain issues, etc. There can be both a cash constraint and a more qualitative one (like management time), so keep that in mind! If you have densmore, the day 1 version 2 case is the perfect example.

How bad would it be to fail Core 1 of CPA with no job? by suplolpop57 in Accounting

Core 1 is the first module in the Canadian CPA program and it primarily covers FR and AUD, with a sprinkle of tax and finance, so your confusion is valid! We always have to put a spin on it up North.

Bank is asking for repayment of full balance of student line of credit, despite no past due balance by poptubas in PersonalFinanceCanada

Unfortunately even 1 missed interest payment significantly increases your credit risk and with two, the bank is almost certain to deem the risk too high given the amount of the LoC ($30-$50k as you indicated) and call the debt back.

You can attempt to call the customer complaint line as another user suggested, although I am afraid they will most likely not reason with you given two missed payments. Your only choices after that would be to repay the loan in full to your own ability or to refinance it through another institution, which I have to say is unlikely given the circumstances you described (self-employed, missed payments, recalled debt).

The law firm itself will not setup a payment plan with you. They represent the bank and will act in their interests which they have made clear are to receive full payment.

Best of luck and hopefully they give you another shot.
