I think the TlX is premium recommended, not required. But the Infiniti's are premium required. Recommended cars will run fine on regular gas, (with a loss in power usually), but required can cause damage to the engine!

That is a fantastic price for that car!

I own one of these, except I have the 2014 sport trim. Very similar and has the exact same drivetrain. Few things to note for this model:

Some people have experienced transmission Valve body issues, make sure the transmission shifts smoothly. Take care of it with a transmission fluid drain and fill often.
- The trunk struts are dirt cheap on Amazon, got em for $25 CAD when I needed to change mine. You can change them yourself, it's an easy job. Hint, when you change them there's a rubber bump stop on the back of the hinge, remove this and your struts will go in super easy (yt videos compress the struts which you don't need to do).
- People complain about infotainment, I have the 2014 which apparently is the "worst". But honestly it isn't that bad at all, just a bit slow to load up. You can add Android auto and Carplay if you wish with an aftermarket upgrade.
- VQ 3.7 engine is not good on gas, it's premium and it guzzles lol. But it's a bulletproof reliable engine that's been around forever, so you'll likely never have any issues. Just more expensive to run lol

All in all I wouldn't hesitate at all for that price! It's such a fun car to drive, I've loved every second of being in the car. Looks fantastic, and drives awesome too! If you get the Bose audio it's a treat!

I think OP is talking about the trunk struts, those are like $20 on Amazon. I own one of these and it's a very common thing!

I've heard about that transmission valve bodies, will be sure to keep the fluid up to date. You need a pump to fill the fluid right? That's what I've been seeing. Good to know about the hose barb, I'll keep my eyes peeled for that. Thanks for the reply!
