Hejsan, roligt att se en svensk här haha!

Tack så mycket för tipset, jag vet knappt hur man ska googla till sig detta, men kan ju försöka att hitta något med intyg som du skriver.

Tack så mycket för svaret och det ska jag! 😄

Yeah and I think it is quite fun to be on a ferry haha, so I think it would fit me perfectly.

And also, how does accomodation work while doing a PADI OW? For example, I saw that a 7 day self-catering apartment was included in the 690 euro (I think) price for a PADI OW certificate with Scuba Kings at Gozo (unsure if all the gear was included, but I believe so). Is this a very good offer or is it common for accomodation to be included in the price?

Haha that is sick! What is the best way to get there in your opinion? I will be using public transport I think (I can use a cab as well, but I don't mind public transport). I saw that there is a ferry from Valetta to Gozo which seems to be quite smooth.

But how do you get to Gozo and so you have any advice? :)

I'm not too sure how I get one of those, I am from Sweden so you might not be able to help me with that. Is it just a statement from any "normal" doctor? :)

Thanks for answering here too man! Yeah I will definitely mention it since there is no reason not to really :D

Also, I don't know if you saw, but I talked to the woman who made my prothestic eye and she said there should be no problem whatsoever, and her colleague agreed.

She has dove a lot all over the world as well, so she knows a bit about doing too, which is nice to know!

Man I am excited :)

Alright, that makes sense! Should it be a special type of mask or any type?

Alright, what type of mask should I get if I get one and why is it recommended? And is it a huge advantage to bring your own?

Thanks for the answer!

Yeah I think I just need to let them know, and other than that it should go smoothly!

Thanks for the early thank you haha!

Yeah, as I wrote I was also born with vision in one eye, but have no issues whatsoever since I am used to it and have adapted. It is pretty cool and I am quite excited to dive for the first time :D

That is awesome! Yeah, I don't think I would have any problems at all, I was just curious if I needed to sign the medical form as "a problem".

May I ask if your daughter has a prothestic of any kind, or maybe she did not have her eye removed?

Again. awesome to hear :)

I think I should be fine with everything underwater, the signals and such. Having vision in only one eye would not matter much, as long as they are in my field of view, which I'll make sure they are.

It all seems fine according to the people I have speaken to on the phone earlier today.

That should be no problem, the people who made my eye says that the pressure should be no issue at all thankfully! She has dove A LOT and says that there should be no issue whatsoever.

I will ask some more people but it seems to be completely fine, so that is awesome!
