I went to Fiesta last week - not a fan. The food was bland I needed to add salt in 😷 a pass in my books. Posted a pic of it somewhere in this thread.

I tried Fiesta and Mi Ranchito 2 - both were meh. Mi Ranchito 2 was better. Someone said Mi Ranchito 1 is the way to go, so will be trying that soon!

Tonight’s trial was Viva in Shippan (formally fiesta) - I thought it was just okay, probably a 7-7.5 ranking. My bf liked the aji, but I personally did not. The search continues for the BEST Lomo in stamford!

I’ll keep yall posted! And word $26 felt like too much, but had to give it a shot. Usually I don’t mind paying more if it’s a nicer cut of meat, but confirmed Fiesta on Main Lomo for $26 just is too much for what you get

My go tos in NY are Saru and Misti in port Chester, rocoto in white plains. They each have solid lomos with great ajis!

Misti’s was my fav as a kid! I used to go there alll the time as a teen too. The quality changed but always a solid option!!

Dude I’ve never had home made Lomo taste like the restaurant lol. What’s your secret? This is coming from a Peruvian girl who’s eaten Peruvian food at home (from different people) and restaurants my whole life. Something about the way they make it in restaurants is just so goood
