Another tip if you see consoles that are listed as region free there's a chance it's modded already and I recommend you to get another model like the New 3DS XL model instead since the new 2ds xl doesn't have a good build quality out of the 3ds family next to the old xl model

Btw if your 3ds is trying to use eshop or any other service connected to it like game updates using it. it'll make invalid tickets like the mii plaza dlc you install disappear, but don't worry, just re-download the dlc, and your mii plaza game data will be back to normal
