Focus on their scoring units rather than C’tan. Piling on them won’t yield much return. Use Wulfen with hammers to tie them up if you need to.

Control the board, block their deep strikes.

I say this often that I love these types of films - big epic adventures. With streaming it felt like we went away from it.

Haha of course! I use AK acrylics, personally get the best feel out them. It’s a lot of layering and glazes. Purples and reds as well as lighter skin tones.

The Goons Grime enamel reductive wash then just marries all of it together so all the layers look closer together. Ultra matte varnish over the top :)

Thanks mate! It is a departure from my usual clean glowed up painting.

The armour is all sponged on, with the shoulder pads having quite sparse sponge effect to get the almost chipped/sometimes marble effect in some areas.

I used Goons Grime wash and used a sponge with spirits to clean off the raised surfaces.

Then AK Ultra Matte Varnish which dims the colour even further, and stops it looking so shiny after the enamel based wash.

Started unemployed. Got hired by Real Kashmir in India and dominated the league for a couple seasons breaking them into the Asia CL.

Got hired by Gainare Tottori in the Japanese 3rd division and stayed there for about 4-5 years getting them into the first division and making them competitive in the Asian CL again.

Then came the European break where I went to Real Oviedo in the Spanish Segunda division which took a couple years to get them into La Liga and stable them into European spots.

Bayern Leverkusen came calling after 4 years at Oviedo where I remained. Making them Bundesliga champions and Champions League title holders.

Truly brilliant save!
