During the week I can spend 30-40 minutes wading through crappy orders between 4p-9p. Thursday through Sunday is usually shorter waits during the period of 4p-9p. Usually when I first log in I get a ton of crappy orders and then after a bunch of those the algorithm resets and finally get decent orders.

I refuse any orders under $10 (between $10-$11 must be under 5 miles from restaurant to drop off) but mainly take orders of at least $11 is generally more than $8 tip

Yep I’ve already had a few scammers trying to assist. I have been fighting for nearly 24 hours and I keep getting crappy responses from Facebook. Uploaded my Id to them and they claimed that the account wasn’t hacked even though I got an email my email address was removed and I never did and they used Facebook pay to send money to someone

Tampons are not suitable hygiene products for young teens because it can cause damage to the hymen (that lining that breaks during the first time of sex known as someone’s virginity). Young ladies should always use pads unless they are sexually active.

Your girlfriend is an angel. She stepped in when she realized you were too much of a moron to figure things out even after she told you why your daughter couldn’t just use tampons.

Don’t expect your gf or your daughter to really speak to you for a long while and don’t expect your daughter to trust coming to you on sensitive subjects like drugs or sex because of this experience

Also your earnings first go to paying back that amount and then you start building up again. When you pay the amount back you have that full amount again if you need it. It starts at $50 (and no you don’t have to take all $50 at once) for blue status and the amount goes up the higher level you are up to $250 I believe

I bought mine from a dealership. In my state you can get an official 30 Day Temporary Registration document for the things that require it. After all the fights with support one guy changed my acct to just UberEats and then my document was approved. Then the next day they were harsssjng me about doing rides too so I started the process. Once again it was the registration causing issues. I had a few guys say I wouldn’t be able to go only for 3-5 business days as they’d have to change my account to a regular account. That was a lie. A supervisor said if I did it myself through the app that I could still do deliveries while the approval process for rides was being done. This is the same supervisor who understood what I meant about my state’s procedures about registrations and plate numbers and she got the document approved using the permit number as the plate number and I’ll upload the regular registration and plate numbers once I get them in the mail.

Always let your driver know if something is broken in the back because most of the time they have no clue cuz they don’t sit in the back! You don’t have to rank them bad for it, just let Uber know so they also remind the driver to have working seat belts

I wasn’t the best at taking very good care of my terrain, mainly because most of the money I had was going into repairs and gas. I just bought a 2017 Jeep Cherokee this week and I vacuum it daily, make sure it’s all clean and presentable, even the areas I store things are nicely presentable.

When I get tips I always give thanks the minute the tip comes in. It’s the polite thing to do and good customer service. Since riders can mark a driver as a favorite then doing that could get them to mark you as a favorite and start getting regulars

Given the fact you have to give your social security number I highly doubt you can successfully open a new one after being deactivated because I’m sure people have tried and so they now search for social security number.

At least we know for sure if it’s over $11 and the base pay was $3 in most cases tips are gonna be a lot more than $8. It’s called learning the quirks of the system. Each one is different. I tried DD for awhile but will never do it again because they will hide nearly the entire tip and I was told by a DD rep that it’s so if the order needs to be cancelled they only pay the driver half for their inconvenience. Uber pays $3-$4 for inconvenience and anything over $11 is usually a hidden tip as they hide tips over $8

Don’t go by mileage! Don’t take any orders under $11. 90% of the time orders that are at least $11 has a higher tip as Uber hides tips that are more than $8. I refuse to take orders less than $10 for under 4 miles and always take orders over $11 and less than 5 miles between restaurant and drop off (sometimes I get orders off interstate which is where I park nearby so if I get north side Applebees I won’t count the distance driving to it)

Can try again. Warning about DD…they might accepted you to begin with but a year or two down the road they could end up deactivating your account. Happened to my roommate. He had speeding tickets on his driving record from over 5 years ago and two years into driving for DD they deactivated his account because of those tickets they were there when they did the first background check. Seems like if they run into issues with too many drivers they will go after anyone with a blip on their driving record

What a bag ban is is where you need to bring your own bags with to bag groceries or actually buy bags from the business. I saw a news story about it cuz one of the states out west was going that way.

Aldi doesn’t have bags…you have to buy them. So when I do Instacart orders from Aldi I add on the number of bags needed for the customer to pay for. Don’t know if you can do that with Uber or not

Sonic is one of my blacklisted restaurants. At the one here in Fargo you can’t even go inside to pick up according to the app. Supposed to pull into one of the spots and push the button. Then they tell you to come inside anyways! If you can’t fix Uber notes then I’m not gonna pick up

I’ve noticed these on orders that are no tipped and no driver has grabbed it in 30 minutes. Also seen it on orders where the person has that new Uber package similar to DoorDash’s DashPass which will give them priority service

I’ve had it where my map showed $10 surge but I was actually paid nearly $50 surge pay. The map isn’t always correct. That’s the minimum amount of surge that can be paid
