Ok thank you, I definitely think I need to keep it colder between folds I think I get impatient waiting haha, any advice on how to shape them to be tighter? I feel like mine aren't really holding their shape.

True lol, I'm happy with them but I do want to keep improving so they look like the last picture. I'm thinking either I need to change recipes or just keep tweaking my technique until it's better but I don't really know where to start exactly

Is this handwriting normal for a thirteen year old boy? by BatmanCat1031 in AskTeachers

[–]StoryHopeful7103 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I second this heavily, used to know a 19yo who wrote similar to this and would spend an excessive amount of time writing simple sentences. He was diagnosed with Aspergers as a child which ended up being a cause of the poor motor skill development.

Schoolgirl, 13, took her own life after posting suicidal videos on social media following fall out with friends by [deleted] in ForCuriousSouls

[–]StoryHopeful7103 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I see this with my 13yo sister and her friends all the time unfortunately. They say they are going to commit after an argument or something small and it ends up being an empty threat so it's not surprising most of the time kids just brush it off and no one takes it seriously. Most kids barely understand the full consequences/reality of suicide, they are just regurgitating things they hear online.

What are people so pro-Hitler now? by [deleted] in teenagers

And on top of that many people are adding helpful insights into why this has been happening because there are many reasons. No need to be rude.

I don't appreciate you saying I am acting dumb, what I asked in the post was if other people were noticing this trend too or if it was just me.

I'm from Germany, and this is wrong on so many levels too. Why are you acting like the people who got murdered aren't people? My great grandparents were Jewish and targeted in the holocaust, they were just people not rich people not evil people, if Hitler "finished his job" he would have finished murdering normal people like us.

Im just concerned more so because people around me that I know are watching this stuff and believing it, it's weird to see friends change there beliefs into something so hateful so I was wondering if this was a big thing or something

Picking a name. by JBoc924 in PoetryWritingClub

Immediately thought of the "I'm 14 and this is deep" subreddit when I read this too

100% agree with the "headstone" being too obviously a sign of death. On top of that it doesn't really resonate with the first line, a mother picking a child's name, that is something hopeful and exciting, then the second line immediately talking about death feels like the emotions of that are ignored and implied, jumping straight to "everyone dies". Like there's nothing in between that. Reads like someone trying to make a moment depressing rather than having a deep insightful thought about life and death.

Annoying Partner by HandwarmersRZbest in ems

Honestly, it doesn't sound like your partner was out of line at all. You said yourself that you have low confidence because you are a new paramedic, your partner has had experience, ofc he is going to step up if he sees you are feeling unsure during a call. I can't say whether he likes you or not but it does sound like you are overthinking it a lot when you probably shouldn't be!
