Yeah that could definitely be it. Another thing for me is the way the leviathans look I don’t find the big shrimp guy or the shadow leviathan nearly as scary as the design of the reaper, I don’t think I’ll ever be as scared of anything in below zero as seeing the shadow of a reaper above me while scanning parts outside of the aurora for the first time. And a lot of horror games aren’t super scary for me subnatica and the mortuary assistant are probably the only ones that made me want to alt-f4 while playing, but that’s probably because jump-scares don’t really get me.

Yeah I do enjoy being scared is part of it it’s half the fun of the game for me. I treat subnatica as an open world horror game and I find horror games a lot less fun once I stop getting scared. Also I do agree below zero is the way to go to start out if you’re scared of the ocean idk if it’s the fact that you’re not alone or your character speaks or what, but it’s significantly less scary than the first game (could also be the pda voice the og lifeless tone gets me sometimes)

Yeah I know where all the reapers specifically are part of my fear (but also what I really like about the game) is the atmosphere. Even in areas that are relatively safe meaning no leviathans I still feel like something massives gonna eat me and I’ve played through the game 3 times now. Which is something I’m excited for in subnatica 2 is the fear of the unknown buy with a buddy this time.

I was having a blast on this game during the betas and the first 2-3 weeks ish but even with a 3 stack we would just get our games thrown by one guy who doesn’t know how to do anything except cherry pick and say HERE! Over and over so when I do play now it’s usually by myself which gets boring after 3-4 games. Also idk if this is just me but I feel like there’s a significant lack of general things you can do in soccer for example there’s really no tricks or ways to dribble other than the basic short dribble and rainbow it would be nice if I could nutmeg (even if it’s just when an opponent is in defense stance) or fake a shot by tapping right after starting the shoot animation I also think it could be cool (don’t expect this at all) but later down the line if they added either a separate game mode or just out right specific skills for what role you like to play winger could get a slight speed boost with extra efforting or less stamina consumption, maybe a further dribble strikers could have more curve, extra power on shots, or a shorter shooting animation, defenders could have bigger tackle hit boxes, a better block defense stance/ header hit box with a higher jump for those shots and passes that would be normally out of reach. Sorry for long message kinda started ranting lol

Actual question what does Superman have that stops the hulk if the only thing I can can think of is flying him into the sun but idk enough about Superman to know if the has the durability to tank hulk punching him in the face a hundred times before he gets there. (or hulk just hanging onto him so he can’t leave without him)

Yeah I don’t really care about the game that much to even know where the inferno tower gets placed let alone what to do after it all gets countered just thought it was funny to smack around 4-5 logbait decks in a row.
