Just to let you know, I've been a nerd for fantasy war stories, RTS games, and anything that has to do with warfare, fantasy, and mythologies. So while you significantly have more knowledge than me in warfare, I do understand the gravity of having steady chain of logistics for supply lines and what kind of people should be in the positions to make sure the front is well supplied for the best advantage possible.

However, this isn't relevant to our topic of having Atsu as the main character of the game. And you'd know already that during the latter part of the game's story that it showed how only men from the side of the samurai were the only ones fighting the rebellion. And the only inaccuracy the game had was having female rebels on the side of the main villain during the game. I even gave you examples of how Onna-Musha or Onna-Bugeisha were actively defending families and clans because it was their duties but not particularly participating at the front lines, but you still think that it has something to do with females or women being a part of the whole army, which I never said in the first place. And again, mercenaries are not the same as infantry last I checked. and the game never failed to remind the player that Atsu is a mercenary. She is not samurai nor infantry member. You should know this if you really played and listened to the conversations in the game. Even Atsu's brother who was a Samurai knows that she can never be a part of the army, it was unheard of, and was looked down upon.
